I guess you have a point. However, I think it's fine to be happy with him, if he's winning us games, but he'll never get back our respect, or adoration. Clued up fans will never buy the lies.

ROFL.
-
It's all going to end in horror. Rooney will have trolled us all.

No problem. But can I request no more small penis porn? ;p (at least that's what it looked like)

I'm quite anxious to get the season going. I don't know what to expect. Obviously we have good players, but it's a very hard start for us and with a new manager, not the ideal time to be playing the best teams. I like your enthusiasm, but remember we have RvP! Deadly.

I don't think you'll find too many of us screaming his name. If he was to stay and score goals for us, we'd simply be using him just for that. Any genuine appreciation for him has gone. I read a topic (poll too) on a United forum recently asking opinions, and of course - stay or go? It was about 70/30 in favour of him leaving. We are not idiots.

I thought it was important to make my posting good - to be taken seriously. Also, so I did not come across as a wind up merchant, because that's the last thing I am. Appreciate the comments. I'll be around Can't wait. It's actually very close. End of the month. (August)

I'm sure you'll work it out. You're a clever boy with your comments. Surely you're clever on the whole.

You're the kind of guy that when you order a takeaway, you give no tip, yeah? ;p
-
I'm making a rapid retreat now! Laters ;p
-
Well, Terry likes to be involved too.
-
Stingray himself. He thinks he can turn me blue apparently ;p
-
Behave. ;p

Thank you very much. I thought I might have a tough time of it at first on a rival board. You are all very nice though. Quick..... lock the Asylum.

Negredo and Jovetic bagged a load of goals each last season. They score goals. Lots of them. Regarding the chemistry - it's simple. Didn't you notice how they played last season? I've mentioned that a few times now, and it was a common opinion I agree with - the team chem was low. Now add even more new players, and how will it improve? I don't want to keep repeating the same stuff, but you've asked. As for Aguero and Dzeko... do you honestly think all them millions were spent to sit both new forwards on the bench? One of them will start, and Dzeko will suffer further. He's really out of favour. Has he even settled yet anyway, after the treatment he's recieved? He deserved a lot better, he's a top-class player. As for Garcia - was he really given enough game time to be classed as a player with any real PL experience? I'm not sure. He looks distinctly average as well. But of course Yaya is a monster in there. The team is strong without doubt, but playing as a team wins titles. Their manager is a really smart appointment though - So I don't completely rule them out of getting it together quite quickly. My personal opinion on Silva will need to wait though - I can't work out what is wrong with him. What is undeniable though is the fact he has been off-form for quite some time. With him pulling the strings City were very strong, without, disjointed and no real team spirit. They'll probably end up starting three new players in their starting XI. All being attackers.
-
I honestly can't see them playing as a cohesive unit. They didn't achieve it last year and they've added new players. How can they? It's surely not possible. They are going to heavily rely on individual brilliance again. As you say the manager is even new too... It all points to what we are thinking. Football can be strange though...
-
I see. I'll look forward to watching him properly.
-
A pretty fair summation.
-
A lot of people would argue that was their problem last season. They played too much as individuals again; adding more new faces from different leagues won't end well in my opinion, but let's see. Again it was a common opinion I heard a lot last season. I'm not so quick to judge however. I was merely suggesting it. I agree he's a class player, but I'm still wondering if he will EVER find that great form again. Jesus Navas' signing suggests somebody isn't happy with the wide players. He wouldn't occupy Silva's position but he is a whole different tactic for getting balls into the strikers. Maybe somebody feels Silva's approach has been somewhat nullified?
-
Of course it's understandable you'd question it, I would too. The FA are highly frustrating. I think Mourinho has always been similar to Ferguson. They both manipulate to try and gain advantages, and why not? If people are susceptible to such things, I'd probably take advantage too (in terms of competition) so I've never seen the problem, and I've always loved Jose's comments to the media etc. All teams cheat in some way anyway, so the people that come out and complain are just jealous hypocrites, as they'll watch their team cheat week in week out. It's all the same thing - taking advantage.
-
This is my theory too.
-
See, that is a level headed opinion I can live with. I'm not going to deny it - Ferguson was a master at manipulating, we all know it. It's not his fault they listened/acted though. He can only suggest things, and say things, it's the people who respond to it that should be targeted, for either not doing their job, or folding under pressure to a man who had 'no real power.'
-
Their problem will be team chemistry. Negredo and Jovetic are impressive players, but will surely take some time to settle in. I'm not so sure how good Fernandinho is, but again it's quite rare a player will join a new club in a new league and do anything really amazing. If Silva has been found out as it looked last year, they could be in trouble with all this happening too. Mourinho is just trying to heap even more pressure on them.
-
If I thought there was any chance of changing your mind perhaps I would engage further in this, but I can tell I would be wasting my time. I'll simply agree to disagree.
-
All of this sort of stuff is wildly exaggerated. I don't think you need to go there, it makes most look extremely desperate, and hateful. I won't deny we've had some luck, but I don't buy it. Favor from the FA? They've always hammered us.
