Daniel Pappoe's loan spell at Colchester has been cut short and the centre-back has now returned to Chelsea. Pappoe arrived at the Weston Homes Community Stadium in the summer on a loan deal which was set to run until January. But the 19-year-old has struggled with injury and failed to make an impact at the League One club, managing just two substitute appearances and being sent off on his debut in a 2-2 draw at Bradford in mid-September.
