  1. Chelsea make the journey to Ipswich for our next Premier League game on Monday night this week as the busy festive period continues and we play our final match of 2024. After two poor performances in my opinion, we need to see a bit of a bounce back in this game, but it’s not going […]View the full article
  2. Well folks, it is now official, Chelsea are SECOND in the Premier League at Christmas time. That fact is something that not one single person in the entire world would have predicted. If anyone claims they did, then they are lying. And for Chelsea to be second in the Premier League at Christmas time, someone […]View the full article
  3. As well as defender Josh Acheampong, who we have all been hearing a lot about lately, winger Tyrique George has been promoted to the senior side, getting an official locker in the dressing room and having an initiation by Enzo Maresca last week. It was a beautiful moment for both players and shows that actually, […]View the full article
  4. I was going to suggest trying to get the ticket changed to an adult, but a person (with an adult ticket) entering the east lower (family section) must be with either an junior or a senior. There's not much you can do about this other than arrive and hope the steward at the ticket gate don't notice. Or sell them again.
  5. Thiago Silva does have a huge desire to return to Chelsea within a working capacity one day in the near future as he continues through his coaching badges. In the meantime though, the former Chelsea defender returned to Cobham yesterday as part of the club’s annual Christmas event. He was spotted with a bunch of […]View the full article
  6. Goodness, I am actually already getting bored of this one. Pundits and media outlets throwing us in the title race, others whispering it, but everyone at Chelsea (bar Enzo Fernandez) is refusing to be drawn into it. The fact is though, that as long as we remain second, third, fourth, or even (dare I say […]View the full article
  7. If you’re going to offer praise and compliments to a player, why the need to add in a disrespectful dig? I know people say we shouldn’t be giving time to people like Tim Sherwood, and I do agree. But I wanted to use his ‘praise’ as the basis of this article and hand some flowers […]View the full article
  8. I’m in two minds about this whole title talk. Chelsea ARE factually in a title race. Because when you look at the league table, at the time of writing [Sunday morning], Chelsea are second in the league and just five points behind Liverpool. We can reduce that to just one tonight if we beat Brentford. […]View the full article
  9. We're a quarter of the way through the new Premier League season, and things are starting to take shape. Teams at the top and teams are the bottom are starting to show their true colours, and while there are plenty of twists and turns to come, a picture is emerging. Where do Chelsea stand in […]View the full article
  10. I think this one is actually quite simple. There are certainly similarities between how Roman Abramovich operated as Chelsea owner compared to how Todd Boehly and Clearlake have operated, so far at least. However, it’s impossible to judge these similarities this earlier in their tenure-ship, because I don’t believe this is how they will be […]View the full article
  11. The excitement and anticipation for the arrival of Estevao Willian at Chelsea continues ahead of his move being made official in the summer of 2025. It will soon be here now. Until then though, the Brazilian international is still playing out his games in Brazil, and at the weekend he faced up against a familiar […]View the full article
  12. Some Jadon Sancho prop and some flowers to hand out now. I absolutely LOVE watching Sancho play football, what a player. He is my kind of winger. Sancho has incredible close ball control and the way he just skips past players with the ball sticking to his feet is very Eden Hazard or Lionel Messi […]View the full article
  13. Enzo Maresca said earlier in the week that Moises Caicedo currently sits at the table of top midfielders alongside Declan Rice and Rodri. Maresca said in the week on Caicedo: “He is for sure now at that level. No doubt. Unfortunately, Rodri is injured, but Declan is playing. But I think Moisés can sit at […]View the full article
  14. Chelsea take on Tottenham today in a huge game which will go a long way towards defining how the season of each team will be perceived, with more than a third of the Premier League campaign played. Punters gambling in an online casino trying to figure out who will finish higher would have had the […]View the full article
  15. Fresh off a scintillating 5-1 midweek triumph at Southampton, Chelsea take a short cross-capital trip to entertain fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday late afternoon. Reduced to ten men already in the first half, Russell Martin's out-of-sorts side couldn't handle the red-hot Pensioners at St Mary's Stadium, enabling Chelsea to maintain their formidable road form. […]View the full article
  16. I have spoken a lot on Moises Caicedo and why he struggled to settle at the start of his Chelsea career. I always rated him highly and this is why I ignored the price we paid to sign him. I knew he would come good. Watching him at Brighton, you knew there was no way […]View the full article
  17. When teams started to focus on man marking Cole Palmer this season, that is when you know how serious of a player this guy is (as if we didn’t already know). Palmer just picked up yet another award this week, and he will soon have to buy a bigger house to put them all in. […]View the full article
  18. Enzo Maresca has turned the temperature down on Chelsea a bit for now. He’s decided to save some pennies by turning the heating down a bit this winter, and he’s probably smart to do so. For some, we probably like to hear our managers shouting out that Chelsea are back, and Chelsea are going to […]View the full article
  19. The upcoming Premier League clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea promises to be a thrilling encounter. With Tottenham flying high under Ange Postecoglou and Chelsea struggling to find consistency under Mauricio Pochettino, this game could be a decisive moment for both clubs. As the season progresses, the stakes only get higher, making this London derby […]View the full article
  20. Ben Foster, who is often the rare pundit who is positive on Chelsea and has continued to be even through the toxic times, has spoken the truth on Robert Sanchez this week. Who better to listen to on the ability of a goalkeeper than an experienced one who was pretty good between the sticks during […]View the full article
  21. Not a transfer rumour rated article as I already have one of those out today, but there is another rumour to touch on. Marc Guehi back to Chelsea. Journalist Graeme Bailey has said this on Guehi back to Chelsea: “Guehi is someone who they like, he’s high up on the list. Palace have got issues, […]View the full article
  22. Midfielder Enzo Fernandez recently lost his starting place in Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea A-Team that starts league games, with the Italian preferring to pick Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo ahead of him. I think Caicedo is THE permanent fixture in that starting line up, with the rest up for grabs really. Cole Palmer is perhaps another. […]View the full article
  23. On October 1, 2023, Chelsea were in dire straits. They were sitting in 14th in the Premier League through six matchweeks, and they’d scored just five goals. It was arguably one of their darkest moments since the pre-Abramovich era. However, it would not last long, as exactly one month earlier, they’d signed a promising but […]View the full article
  24. How do you keep all of these Chelsea players happy? The answer of course is you can not, it is impossible to do so. Football players, surprise surprise, just want to play football. And when you have so much quality in this Chelsea squad now, some are not going to play and as a result, […]View the full article
  25. Hilario might have only ever made 20 league appearances for Chelsea between 2006 and 2014 and might not have been the best goalkeeper in the world, but he deserves a lot of respect for his time he has spent at Chelsea, 18 years in fact. He’s one of those unsung heroes really, and anyone I […]View the full article
