  1. I maintain that how things have gone this season and how we have managed to largely keep on top of injuries, that there are still more positives than negatives about being able to field an entirely different starting Xl for cup games. I do think it has been beneficial and there have been more pros […]View the full article
  2. It's the question we've all been asking on and off for a decade now - can anyone stop Manchester City's dominance? They've got the most money, the best players, the top coach in the game, and the best suits upstairs running things. It's been a well oiled winning machine - but there's finally a sense […]View the full article
  3. Joe Cole has a lot of good friends still within the Chelsea hireachy, and he is very much involved with the club still. So it’s always interesting when he speaks like this. Cole has said that Chelsea are prioritising the defence this window, and he has co-signed a move for Marc Guehi, along with some […]View the full article
  4. Once again, John Obi Mikel has jumped to criticise Chelsea’s squad builders for not signing another striker. This is a real area of neglect. To think they can simply rely on Nicolas Jackson alone to lead the line and provide us with what we need up top has been simply ludicrous in my view, and […]View the full article
  5. I think I could probably accept either of Trevoh Chalobah or Marc Guehi coming in if it is genuinely impossible to sign a top new centre back this window and we then follow that up with signing said top centre back in the summer, someone in the ilk of a Ruben Dias just for example […]View the full article
  6. Wesley Fofana could now miss an entire season at Chelsea once again, according to Maresca. That is crushing news and absolute madness with the money we spent on signing him. I’m gutted, truly gutted. However, it seems that Fofana himself is disagreeing with Enzo Maresca’s diagnosis on his injury. L’Equipe are reporting that some people believe […]View the full article
  7. I wrote this article before the Ipswich defeat but that just elevates even more of what I say below. But just look at the current Premier League table and tell me that this isn’t one of the craziest first halves of season you have witnessed so far!? Nottingham Forest are SECOND! Liverpool running away with […]View the full article
  8. Chelsea make the journey to Ipswich for our next Premier League game on Monday night this week as the busy festive period continues and we play our final match of 2024. After two poor performances in my opinion, we need to see a bit of a bounce back in this game, but it’s not going […]View the full article
  9. Well folks, it is now official, Chelsea are SECOND in the Premier League at Christmas time. That fact is something that not one single person in the entire world would have predicted. If anyone claims they did, then they are lying. And for Chelsea to be second in the Premier League at Christmas time, someone […]View the full article
  10. As well as defender Josh Acheampong, who we have all been hearing a lot about lately, winger Tyrique George has been promoted to the senior side, getting an official locker in the dressing room and having an initiation by Enzo Maresca last week. It was a beautiful moment for both players and shows that actually, […]View the full article
  11. I was going to suggest trying to get the ticket changed to an adult, but a person (with an adult ticket) entering the east lower (family section) must be with either an junior or a senior. There's not much you can do about this other than arrive and hope the steward at the ticket gate don't notice. Or sell them again.
  12. Thiago Silva does have a huge desire to return to Chelsea within a working capacity one day in the near future as he continues through his coaching badges. In the meantime though, the former Chelsea defender returned to Cobham yesterday as part of the club’s annual Christmas event. He was spotted with a bunch of […]View the full article
  13. Goodness, I am actually already getting bored of this one. Pundits and media outlets throwing us in the title race, others whispering it, but everyone at Chelsea (bar Enzo Fernandez) is refusing to be drawn into it. The fact is though, that as long as we remain second, third, fourth, or even (dare I say […]View the full article
  14. If you’re going to offer praise and compliments to a player, why the need to add in a disrespectful dig? I know people say we shouldn’t be giving time to people like Tim Sherwood, and I do agree. But I wanted to use his ‘praise’ as the basis of this article and hand some flowers […]View the full article
  15. I’m in two minds about this whole title talk. Chelsea ARE factually in a title race. Because when you look at the league table, at the time of writing [Sunday morning], Chelsea are second in the league and just five points behind Liverpool. We can reduce that to just one tonight if we beat Brentford. […]View the full article
  16. We're a quarter of the way through the new Premier League season, and things are starting to take shape. Teams at the top and teams are the bottom are starting to show their true colours, and while there are plenty of twists and turns to come, a picture is emerging. Where do Chelsea stand in […]View the full article
  17. I think this one is actually quite simple. There are certainly similarities between how Roman Abramovich operated as Chelsea owner compared to how Todd Boehly and Clearlake have operated, so far at least. However, it’s impossible to judge these similarities this earlier in their tenure-ship, because I don’t believe this is how they will be […]View the full article
  18. The excitement and anticipation for the arrival of Estevao Willian at Chelsea continues ahead of his move being made official in the summer of 2025. It will soon be here now. Until then though, the Brazilian international is still playing out his games in Brazil, and at the weekend he faced up against a familiar […]View the full article
  19. Some Jadon Sancho prop and some flowers to hand out now. I absolutely LOVE watching Sancho play football, what a player. He is my kind of winger. Sancho has incredible close ball control and the way he just skips past players with the ball sticking to his feet is very Eden Hazard or Lionel Messi […]View the full article
  20. Enzo Maresca said earlier in the week that Moises Caicedo currently sits at the table of top midfielders alongside Declan Rice and Rodri. Maresca said in the week on Caicedo: “He is for sure now at that level. No doubt. Unfortunately, Rodri is injured, but Declan is playing. But I think Moisés can sit at […]View the full article
  21. Chelsea take on Tottenham today in a huge game which will go a long way towards defining how the season of each team will be perceived, with more than a third of the Premier League campaign played. Punters gambling in an online casino trying to figure out who will finish higher would have had the […]View the full article
  22. Fresh off a scintillating 5-1 midweek triumph at Southampton, Chelsea take a short cross-capital trip to entertain fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday late afternoon. Reduced to ten men already in the first half, Russell Martin's out-of-sorts side couldn't handle the red-hot Pensioners at St Mary's Stadium, enabling Chelsea to maintain their formidable road form. […]View the full article
  23. I have spoken a lot on Moises Caicedo and why he struggled to settle at the start of his Chelsea career. I always rated him highly and this is why I ignored the price we paid to sign him. I knew he would come good. Watching him at Brighton, you knew there was no way […]View the full article
  24. When teams started to focus on man marking Cole Palmer this season, that is when you know how serious of a player this guy is (as if we didn’t already know). Palmer just picked up yet another award this week, and he will soon have to buy a bigger house to put them all in. […]View the full article
  25. Enzo Maresca has turned the temperature down on Chelsea a bit for now. He’s decided to save some pennies by turning the heating down a bit this winter, and he’s probably smart to do so. For some, we probably like to hear our managers shouting out that Chelsea are back, and Chelsea are going to […]View the full article
