Can You Rip Dvd Content?

This is a question I been dying to ask!

I've recorded some footage from my tv using a dvd recorder, now i want to take that content and then rip them off the DVD as media files. I know that it is in fact do-able, but how to do it, I have no clue.

I want to post on youtube, some of the best goals I've scored on PES2008 so far, but I need help with the DVD ripping part.

Can anyone help, this is very high in the list of important things I want to be able to achieve!

um yea if you wanted to get the video off your actual dvd, put the disc into your dvd drive, and from there download this program called dvd decrypter

install that and rip the video content from it, you may need to convert the video format to beable to put it onto youtube, as it will rip off the dvd as a .VOB file which is a dvd format..

or you could just download any DVD Ripper software and install it...you can get alot of'em from www.download.com

they're pretty easy to use btw...
