DYC. 7,542 Posted August 4, 2010 Share Posted August 4, 2010 Dam.....I had it in my head this was a 6pm kick off.Anyone fancy giving me a run down how the 1st half panned out ?Basicly we've been passing the ball around the whole 45 minutes. Hardly broke down their defence.Greatest excitement in the whole half was a nice little (very little) run by Malouda but the final pass wasn't that good.Bad defending caused our first goal. Essien intercepted, kept his head cool and saw Frank. eldo 868 Posted August 4, 2010 Share Posted August 4, 2010 I like Mikel's game, he is for most of the time playing in our own half so it sometimes looks like we are playing with three CBs. In my opinion he only needs to start to do more tackling when he has clearer chancees. While players like Essien (maybe Ramires too, i don't know him much) like to go up front, that's why i like Mikel much more for DM.Ross Turnbull also isn't doing bad when he is concentrated.Kalous problem is that he likes to complicate things more than simplify.
