Our Barclays Premier League away game at Liverpool has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 2.

The game was originally scheduled for the day before, but will now be live on Sky Sports with a 1.30 pm kick-off.

It is our last away game of the season, before we face Wigan Athletic at home on the league season's final day. Kick-off for that match on Sunday 9 May has been confirmed as 4pm.

Our FA Cup Final against Portsmouth is on May 15.

The only one that I can see that gets you in time before Kickoff leaves London at 5.50 and takes 6 hours 47 minutes, but you have 2 change twice.

Better off getting the coach really, another early start. Hope they pile on plenty of coaches knowing that there are no direct trains. It would have really helped if the kidkoff being at 3.

Sod that - I've never used the thomas cook coaches before are they ok?

Yes they're OK, depends on how you are with sitting for long periods of time. Of course you're not alowed any alcohol on board. They'll stop for about 40 minutes to an hour at a Service Station on route. They usually show a Chelsea video and you get to do a quiz. Get to the ground about an hour / hour and a half before kickoff, so still time to get a drink or 2.

looking like 4 of us are going to have to use the coaches unless we can get a mini bus sorted and fill it ...do they check coke bottles etc when you get on board??

Think they just trust that you haven't got anything, but you never know particularly if they are providing extra coaches, you might get someone that wants check everyone before boarding The do say that if you are caught with any alcohol, that they will drop you off at the furthest point from home. One of the stewards said to me for the Villa Game, got any alcohol, I said no and he said Why Not  Don't think they like it if you're drunk either.

Just tried to book the coach and nothing about it on the Thomas Cook website, what's the point of that? Clearly says on the official Chelsea site to click on the link for Thomas Cook to book and there's nothing on there about the trip. FFS

I'm on the coaches too.

I hate long journeys but if it's the only way to get to Anfield then I'll have to put up with it. :smiliecap1:

It's not too bad, as I said before they generally play a Chelsea DVD, on the way up and have a quiz to pass the time. Wish we could get some singing going on the way up, that would be great, not sure whether the regulars would mind? Best one was on the way back from Bolton, and the coach just erupted and we had good solid singing for at least 20 minutes, you should have seen the look on the stewards faces. :D

Decided i cant be arsed to sit on a coach for stupid amount of time plus its a pain to get to the bridge for that time in the morning so we will either drive or spend the weekend sat - mon in liverpool ( got family friend up there originally from fulham moved 5 years ago so somewhere to stay and liverpool is meant to be a good night out)

  • 2 weeks later...

I've not been sent a boarding pass or anything for the coach is that right? Is it just a name list?

Have Thomas Cook sent you an itinerary by email, as that's what I normally printout to take to show them on the coach.
