James 5,300
The game wasn’t a great spectacle to watch, this was probley due to the fact they only needed a single point to progress. The Nigerians did look more convincing and played alot better football than in previous games. Mozambique how ever almost took the lead early on through Paito but once Lokomotiv Moscow forward Odemwingie scored goals either side of the break there was no looking back for Nigeria.Obafemi Martins once of Newcastle added another late on putting the Nigeria’s qualification beyond doubt, he powered home in the 85th minute after a Mikel shot came back off the keeper.Nigeria will play there quarter-final on Monday, with Ivory Coast playing Algeria on Sunday.
