Barnsley will demand compensation of up to £1million from Manchester United for teenager Reuben Noble-Lazarus.

The 15-year-old is currently on a two-week trial at Manchester United and will be offered a deal if he is successful.

Noble-Lazarus became the youngest ever Football League debutant when he appeared against Ipswich aged just 15 years and 45 days last September.

He has since gone on to make a further senior appearance for Simon Davey’s team this season and is said to view a switch to Old Trafford favourably.
