SystemBlueBob 0
http://www.soccerway.com/news/2009/April/2...ver-angola-job/ LISBON (AFP) - Former World Cup winning coach Luiz Felipe Scolari is in talks to take over as coach of Angola less than two months after being sacked from English Premier League side Chelsea, a report said Friday. According to Portuguese weekly Sol the "Angolan federation has already agreed to the financial terms of the coach", although it added that Scolari would only make a final decision after a fact-finding trip to the south-western African country. Scolari, who led Brazil to the 2002 World Cup, was sacked by Chelsea in February and replaced by Dutchman Guus Hiddink, who is currently serving on an interim basis. Angola, who qualified for the 2006 World Cup in Germany, are currently out of the running for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa having finished second behind Benin in a round two mini-league. Angola however are keen to reinstall confidence in their team ahead of their hosting of the 2010 African Nations Cup.

SystemBlueBob 0
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...h.html?ITO=1490 Luiz Felipe Scolari will meet his agent in the next 72 hours to talk about his return to management. The Brazilian, sacked by Chelsea in February, denies he has agreed terms to take over the Angola national team and now faces the dilemma of accepting a lucrative offer abroad or waiting for the right opportunity in London, where he and wife Olga would like to stay. The 60-year-old, who has been linked to the vacancy at Queens Park Rangers, said: 'It is too early to say what I will do. Luis Felipe Scolari has been out of work since being sacked by Chelsea in February 'I can't deny contact (with Angola), but there has been nothing more than that. 'I have another three or four proposals to look at, to see the pros and cons. 'The challenges are important to me, not just financial terms and I will not rush to make a decision.' Scolari is in Portugal where he will talk to agent Jorge Mendes this week. Mendes has been negotiating with Angola, who are keen to hire a big-name coach in preperation for their hosting of the Africa Cup of Nations next year.
