BlueLion. 21,491
Brazilian defender Kleber has revealed he expects to leave Santos in the current transfer window. The 28-year-old has been linked with Chelsea, who could be in the market for a left-back following Wayne Bridge's move to Manchester City. Kleber has previously declared his interest in signing for City, although it remains to be seen if boss Mark Hughes is looking to bolster his squad in that department. The full-back told Radio Record: "The president [Marcelo Teixeira] said to me that it is going to be very difficult to stay at Santos. "The officials wish to have an offer from Europe. That hasn't happened yet but it could happen up until the end of the window. "I know for sure that I will not continue at Santos because they have sold me to an investment group. "I am a little bit upset as I didn't know anything about that."
