Mourinho secures first signing

Roma's flying winger Alessandro Mancini will be Jose Mourinho’s first signing at Inter once the Brazilian returns from his holidays.

The Nerazzurri’s £10 million bid has been accepted by Luciano Spalletti’s Giallorossi and Mancini will put pen to paper on a four-year deal worth £3 million per season.

Inter’s recruitment supremo Gabriele Oriali has expressed his joy and declared that the 26-year-old, currently in his homeland, will make the deal official in the next few days.

“Everybody’s happy with this business,” he told Sky Italia.

“We are waiting for the player to come back from holidays to sign the contract.”

Mancini will be an Inter player and Chelsea’s Frank Lampard could follow the attacking midfielder, as Mourinho is very keen on his former protégé.
