Chelsea may seek to block any move away sought by Didier Drogba.

Although Chelsea had initially agreed to his request to leave, they are now wavering.

With a shortage of adequate replacement strikers, Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon may yet put his foot down.

Grant said: "Didier has not said to me that he wants to leave. Sometimes Didier has bad days and sometimes good days, but he gives everything for the team. We have 27 players in the squad and they don't all tell me they are staying."

If its money Drogba wants then he should piss off. As good as he is, i don't want any player at Chelsea who's in it for money alone and couldnt give a toss about the club.

The only difference with Lampard is that he doesnt slate us in the press, he's never come out and said it sickened him to play for us. However, the fact that he has said he loves Chelsea and wants to finish his career with us should see him sign the contract he's offered. Shouldnt it?
