Planning my first trip down to the Bridge, not decided on a game yet - would love to go to one of the CL qualifiers but the Juve game is a bit short notice. What's the demand for tickets like? Also where's best to sit for atmosphere.

welcome. i`d get tickets for any game you can if i was you. as for the big games it`s hard to get tickets unless you have a season ticket or are a true blue member.

i`m a season ticket holder but where as i used to be able to get tickets for others in the 80`s and 90`s it`s alot more difficult now.

the Matthew Harding stand lower and Shed end lower is usually the best place to sit for atmosphere, although other places step up their game and can match them sometimes, you can rely on those parts of the ground to be up for it at any game. that is where the hardcore go. you would be lucky to get a ticket in those areas tho.

although for viewing the game you are better off getting higher up if you want to have a good view of the entire pitch. around the middle of the east upper is the best place i`d say for this.although in 31 years of going i can`t remember ever being in the west stand so can`t say much about that.

if you get a seat in the east upper towards the back of the stand on the side near the MHS then you may not be able to see whose taking the corner kicks on the far side near the shed end on your flank of the pitch, but that`s the only restricted viewing i`ve had at the bridge that is the seatings fault. there`s always the chance of having some mammoth of a man being infront of you ofcourse or a giant flag being passed around etc..but that doesn`t tend to happen so much in the East upper.

Is it still hard even for the Premiership games? What's the ticket prices too out of interest? I'm more concerned with the atmosphere than the view, would hate to get sat next to a group of families or silent old guys after bevvying all the way down from Glasgow :)
