Future England Team

Let's talk about what could be our future England team. While our 'Golden Generation' of 2010 failed, we do have a promising batch of players such as Jack Wilshere, Josh McEachran, Harry Kane & Joe Hart who could very well do the job soon if we don't hype them up and we all continue to get behind the team.

My England side for the future (2014 world cup maybe?):

Hart

Kelly/T. Kane/Hutch - Jones/Cahill/Chalobah - Bertrand/Baines

Wilshere - Rodwell/Parker - McEachran/Lampard

Young - Chamberlain/A. Johnson

H. Kane/Rooney/Carroll

If that midfield pulls through better than the Lampard-Gerrard situation, we'll go far. Very far. We have one of the best keepers in the world, a capable right back who can rotate with Todd and Sam Hutch, two great central defenders in Jones & Cahill (who could be captain one day) and then a LB who is pretty much Ashley's predecessor. Wilshere & McEachran are like the Lampard and Gerrard duo, while Rodwell is fantastic in his own retrospect, in the CDM role to pull that midfield together. Young has really impressed me, I used to despise him but he's come along and done fantastic for England (and United). Chamberlain has been promising for both Le Arse & England in the first games he has played. Pacey, has vision and has no fear of taking shots. Harry Kane scores the goals for England's Under 19's (or whoever) and has done well with Millwall on loan from Spuds this season. Andy Carroll is a bit like Crouch and can be as good one day, just look at what he done with Newcastle. And then... WAYNE ROONEY! Not the most likeable man on Earth but he's our greatest hope going into tournaments. Look at 2010, we flopped and not coincidently, Rooney struggled. Rooney will do well when the whole team is doing well. And when we do well, we score. He scores. England wins.
