Guest justin_3d
After having read one of Wenger rants about economical teams that can buy so much, he pointed out to something interesting:He added: "I believe that Europe overall, as a unit, is going towards a massive crisis, which nobody really expects now. I am convinced that Europe will go into a huge financial crisis within the next three weeks or three months and maybe that will put everything into perspective again."Football is not untouchable. We live with people going to the stadiums as well and from advertising from people who buy products."All our income could be a little bit under threat in the next few months. Football is not only about money. We believe in ourselves that we can compete with them but it's as simple as this."Original article:http://uk.eurosport....above-rest.htmlSounds like a stark remainder of how fragile things are now. lentherussian 86
Having listened to kia joorabchian on talk sport the other week and i wdnt be suprised if football ends up goin down a similar route financially to the deals that were done with tevez and mascherano. He was saying that its basically business minded ppl set up football schools around the world especially in poorer countries and then basically investing in individuals, they buy there registration then in a way loan them to clubs as he did with west ham. The reason i say that is, that if money falls out of clubs and alot of players get released from clubs goin bump etc this wdnt be a bad way to deal. I know it doesnt feel right the thought of people ''owning'' players, but its not that far from practical when you think about it. It also stops clubs paying as much for players and on long deals. You could also argue it gives players more freedom then they have now. I also know our league doesnt allow it but that could change. I dont know enough about the whole financial structure to prove my point, its just something to think about.
