Remember when we sacked Carlo ! who were we linked with ?

Now AVB said hopefully we will make a signing , so we are linked with :

If you really think Chelsea has been in talks with all of the above managers in may , then we are really chasing all those midfielders ....

In May/June most of you believed we were either getting Hiddink or Van basten and now you think we are getting Perrera or Miereles , with all my due respect but you are fooled .

This is all just fuckin speculation , our biggest two signings this summer (AVB - Mata)

went through without being all over the news , while we have been linked with hiddink and it was claimed to be just a matter of when Gus will arrive at cobham during june but where is he now ?!

The only player i think we are chasing is Luka Modric , we made an inquiry for Perrera but AVB thought he might be a good option to have but i am sure he wasn't even thinking about paying more than 15-18 millions for him , that's how i like to think about it .

It's just today and tomorrow till the end of the transfer window, I think it's not a long time for me to just wait and see what will happen and when i have credible sources confirming that we signed Modric or Moutinho or Miereles , i will be happy or satisfied or dissappointed .

I find it extremely hard to believe the rumours myself that AVB is in demand for the same player he offloaded out of Porto last season. He must not have rated Miereles highly in the first place to take such decision.

Most importantly, he's a B2B midfielder. Even the least knowledgeable football pundit knows our most pressing need at this time is a creative midfielder. For those two reasons alone, we should disregard the rumor.
