and it must be said that the league is more competitive this year than in previous ones. Arsenal and Liverpool are stronger than they've been in years, but mainly the mid-table teams (except ManUtd ) are much stronger than they used to be. So having 56 points now or leading the league is much more difficult this season than it would have been in the past two seasons imo. Even City is a tad stronger than they were (thanks to Mancini leaving).
That's how enormous what he's been doing is.

I don't know about you guys, but it still has not hit me.
How last season we barely made it to top 4, how we crash out of CL then had to contend with the EL and how we had to put up with a manager most Chelsea fans hated.
Then to how this season everything now looks promising with Mourinho and us in first place.
It still has not hit me, and probably won't for another season or so.
But all I can say is THANK YOU IKER CASILLAS!!!!!
For if it wasn't for him turning the team against him, Mourinho would have never been here.
So Iker you are my hero!
I would love to play Real Madrid to show them what they are missing! :blue scalf:

It's great to see all those guys smiling every time. The team spirit looks greater than ever.
That's the Mou' effect. Mourinho is our best signing.
They will do all their best to prove they are good enough for him, they will die for him on the field.
Next season we will see another chelsea. Some average players will recover from their past form. This will be an exciting season
