  1. I don't find his time at Real Madrid a failure at all. Look how was the league before he came, there wasn't any competition, it was all Barca. When he came Real Madrid was in a really bad moment and they started to compete against Barca, one of the greatest teams of all times in one of the most unbalanced leagues in the world.
  2. The problem with him in Spain was: he coached Real Madrid. In Spain Real Madrid is the most hated in team in the country from everyone who isn't a Real Madrid fan. Mourinho has a lot of character so he made a lot of enemies because defending Real Madrid, which made him to be like a God for Real madrid fans. What happen to be hated by Real Madrid then? He wanted to make big changes within the Real Madrid, mainly sitting Casillas on the bench and wanting him to leave the club, and that made him lose popularity with his own fans because of a big campaing against him started by the Real Madrid press. Casillas is like the friend of the press and he leaks out internal discussions and things like that, and obviously Jose disliked this and wanted to end it.
  3. Hello everyone! I'm from Spain and I always liked Chelsea, even though I am a proud Valencia's fan. I am very passionate about football(sports in general) and since I'm moving to London in the next couple of months I thought joining this community would be a great idea. My favourite player in the team is Mata, I've been in love with his playstyle since he played in Valencia(we discovered him!) and I can't wait to have Mourinho back!
  4. I've been watching Courtois for a long time in the spanish league and I can tell you that he is more than ready to join Chelsea. Obviously, we have Cech and he is playing well but Courtois is younger and eventually we will need to replace Cech and Courtois is the better option, I'm really sure of that.
  5. I don't think Jose would go on television saying that he will become Chelsea's manager this week if it wasn't true, that would hurt his public image. I think Mourinho and Chelsea have been talking for quite some time now and they just need a sign from Mourinho now that he isn't Real Madrid's manager. Remember that yesterday he was still a Real Madrid member, today(the day he is flying to London) Mourinho is no longer attached to any club.
  6. I am from Spain and I watch that interview, I can tell you what he said. Mourinho didn't say he already signed any contract, he said that he will travel today to London and this week he will be the next Chelsea manager. Obviously today he is not the Chelsea manager, but he is in London this week discussing some things with Chelsea before signing, probably salary and stuff.
  7. One of the big newspapers from Spain just published an article that says Barca has chosen David Luiz to join the club. It also says that Barca offered, or will offer, 25 million euros.
  8. Yes, just like that. Mourinho just answered this interview and he said literally that tomorrow he will travel to London and this week he will become Chelsea's manager.
  9. I saw that interview, he said it was official so yes, it's done: Mourinho is our next manager!
