Sarri and us doing a little mind games pretending to play hardball to get a better offer?

I'd take Higuaín on loan for the rest of the season but that still leaves us without an answer there next year. I know he's fallen off since 2 seasons ago but I'd still take Belotti as an option. I think he'd do very well in our team and improve us a lot up front. He wouldn't be nearly as expensive now either.

If he's hesitant to move now just set it up like the Pulisic deal. I'd rather have him now but I can wait until next season if he really won't come now but is willing to in the summer.

I at least have never thought he's a horrible player. He just doesn't seem to fit into system that we are trying to play. I'm sure Barca see his ability the same way I'm sure Sarri can see his ability and why he kept him this summer. Unfortunately that ability hasn't translated well for us this year. I think he's just a little too slow and takes too many touches which I thought was the antithesis of Sarri's system. He's also 30 now, his value isn't going to be increasing in the future. The issue I see is we want more cash for him and Barca want to get rid of Malcom. I personally wouldn't be adverse to getting Malcom but perhaps now isn't the right time for that with our situation with CHO. The club might think he'd see that as pushing him out the door if we bring another winger. I can see the hesitation on the clubs part even if I think this deal could be the last chance we have to sell Willian on for a decent sum.

Rather see him go to Monaco then Everton. After Stones and Lukaku, not that interested in deals with them.

I'd at least like to see him get a preseason next year with the team. Let Sarri get a look at him and assess him before we send him on another loan, even if that's the ultimate decision next season.

Thanks for clarifying that for me. I agree that a 6 month loan is the only real option that makes sense. I just wasn't sure of the mechanics involved and who all we would need to be negotiating with to get it done.

That's what I was thinking. One way or the other we are going to have to negotiate with not only Milan but Juve as well. Juve have made a habit of yanking us around all transfer window long in the past so I'm not sure just how confident I am we can get this done if it's indeed what we want to do.

Who do we actually have to come to an agreement for a loan? Milan and Juve? Milan to end his current loan and Juve to loan him to us? Surely we can't just reach an agreement with Milan. Seems like this one could be very tricky, especially with the way Juve have toyed with us in the past couple of summers.
