Wise, who is 41, jumped from his vehicle when it came under attack as he was driving home from a restaurant. He apparently chased and tackled a teenager but could not hold on to him. The incident happened in Leeds in the early hours of New Year's Day, as Wise was driving home with his heavily pregnant wife Claire, their two young children and his mother-in-law.
