  1. I think the craziest thing I have ever done was to get blind drunk and being sick all over the train seat and station when I got home from a night out
  2. Are we spending the right sort of money on up and coming players, because that's surely where the money needs to be spent developing new talent.
  3. He's proved himself by his long term commitment to the club and is an truly inspirational guy
  4. I still can't work out why it took him so long to speak up when all the rumours started about whether he would stay or go. He should have said something straight away. Good news that he has signed a 5 year contract as he is ' Mr Chelsea'
  5. If you choose to go down that route then that is your choice. I just can't understand why anyone would want to cause trouble like that. Are you actually interested in football as you don't strike me as being that interested and more bothered with causing problems?
  6. Yes I agree, I went on it nearly a couple of months ago and found it very interesting and as you say impressive. It helped that the guide was knowledgeable and was willing to answer any questions. I would recommend anybody new to the club, and even if you're not a Chelsea supproter to go on the tour as it makes for a fascinating hour or so.
  7. Yes if you actively seek to cause violence then you are a thug and you have no place in attending a football match. I would be very careful, as the official bodies have people that route these kinds of people out at matches. They will come down hard on you and will press for the toughest penalties and can and will impose a lifetime ban for entering any ground in the UK if you are caught
  8. He's an experienced player and we think we need players like him as well as the fresh talent coming through. I notice on your list, there were no English Palyers.
  9. I knew you'd say something like that, and I you are right, but as I say without you guys keeping it maintained there wouldn't be a site.
  10. I think to win any silverware is important and promotes good feeling amongst the players and fans. Ultimately the Champions League if it's something we've not won before
  11. Well I think it's credit to you Alex and Jim and all the other staff at TC for keeping the forum going, without you there would be no forum
  12. Yeah Stevo, I think you let us down there in the photo department
  13. this is what gives us real fans a bad name. No thankyou very much
  14. Thanks Kez, OK so we've played Porto before and looks like a win for us should be possible. Should be interesting to see how we match up against the other 2. Out of those 2, I guess Atletico Madrid is the one I've heard of before. I don't think by any means they'll be easy matches. As long as we put in the right training and know which palyers from the opposing are a threat we should be OK. What do I know, i'm still learning....
  15. That's an obscene amount of money. He's worth it though.
  16. OK so i'm thinkig it will be a popular game then as I'd like to get a ticket
  17. I'm definitely up for a meetup at some point. I went to the So Bar yesterday and found it very dark, so maybe if we were to meet in a pub, to choose somehwere lighter or meet somewhere in the stadium.
  18. Well I think as you're only here for a limited time it would be good to meet up, perhaps along with some other members? What do you think? My next home game will be the Spurs game and am going to try to get a ticket for the Porto game too.
  19. Sorry to hear about what's happened to you, it does sound painful. At least you're not letting it affect your everyday life. How long are you in the UK for?
  20. Well I think I'll remember yesterday obviously because of the result, the atmosphere and the fact that I had a such a brilliant time. Last week which was actually my first game at the Bridge I didn't get off to the best of starts, transport problems, and so I couldn't settle and enjoy the match when I finally did get there. Shame really
  21. Wow it sounds as though you had a ball. I can most certainly agree with everything you've said as I for one will remember today for a long time too, it was pretty special. Love all the pictures.
