Have a look at this post I found in the shed end from a poster called Dorset, I think the poster is trying to say move on Has he gone yet? You know who I mean. That guy who looks like a fat Spanish waiter. The one who recently arrived at our table uninvited, brought in by the owner of our beloved restaurant at around the time Robbie started dropping a few plates. Never liked him, right from the moment I clapped eyes on him years ago, serving Scouse front of house in a greasy spoon I could never abide. Vowed it would be the only time I’d clap him too, bearing in mind he once had the gall to say that the menu he was peddling back then was better than ours. Renowned and five-sided he said it was, boastful git, whereas ours was naff and plastic. Bloody cheek! Truth be told, even Jose was more subservient than that when he was organising our table settings. Like a military operation it was back then and he’d never dream of ’shushing’ the clientele or spitting in their food when they weren’t looking. We all know that, don’t we? Then again, even if he had, we would have soon told him to stop being such a wind-up merchant and to just get on with serving the public properly, because everybody knows it‘s high moral principle that matters in the best kitchens. Heavens above, we’d say, it’s these diners that pay your wages, they deserve respect and they’re fair-minded individuals turning up for one thing and one thing only. Good food, properly served without rancour. Actually, that’s three things, but that’s not important. Then again, maybe it is. For let’s be honest here, it is earth-shatteringly important if food is to be served up by this FSW. Of course it is, we can all see that and we can all understand the reasons. Hell’s fire, this one even continues to live near that awful gaff he once managed!! Says it all really - once a person who lives near a horrible gaff, always a person who lives near a horrible gaff, that’s what I always say. Always. Often more than once. And when I do, I then look to see if anybody else agrees with me and, if they do, I’ll press their ’like’ button, because I like nothing better than to press the ’like’ button when it registers ’dislike’ for any FSW, especially this FSW when he turns up at my table uninvited. Don’t get me wrong, I don‘t expect sympathy [you pressing the ’like’ button is usually enough for me anyway] but, would you believe it, I haven’t really enjoyed a meal in weeks. Went out and stuffed myself away at Leeds - didn’t like it, though. Forced myself, I did, then brought it all back up again with a load of bile just before that Villa game at my favourite eatery. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because I only ended up stuffing myself again and needed to make room. Oh well, such is life through the prim and proper prism of modern cooking for me these days. I suppose you can sum it all up in one simple culinary phrase - can’t get the service anymore - and that applies even when I go up market to Delia’s at Norwich. Yep, there is the FSW again, dishing out the orders. Nouvelle cuisine this time. Nowhere near enough goals to keep a grown man happy, especially when I know darn well Robbie would have piled my plate high and it would have been tongue-tinglingly tasty.. Still, at least I’m used to the incessant regurgitation by now and a steady improvement in restaurant quality did mean that Moyes was on the Premiership menu next. I’ve always liked a bit of Moyes. He’s trim, longer term, with lingering taste, you see. A measure of continuity that you can get your teeth into, with silverware always being optional at a Chez Kenwright establishment that has treated its regulars to unrivalled excellence for nigh on nine months. Surely, at long last, this homecoming for the surly FSW would see my appetite for bulimia-avoidance satisfied. But no, not a hope of it, not even an early hiccup could stop the silver-chasing service returning to normal. It is going to be resumed again on Wednesday, when that rabble from Loftus Road arrive for a spot of air pie and a mashing. Bon Appetit ‘Arry!

Of course he was sacked, contract termination is a sacking, mutual consent is a sacking, Rafa gave Morrati 3 options , challenged him ! sack me, or buy me players, but accept you lied to me when you gave me the job ! journalists will not use contract termination or mutual consent, they will say sack because its sensational writing, and also depending on the jouno's realtionship and perspective of the victim, they will write and twist in the light they want their reader to view it , its how you sell the story. Do you read negative things about ferguson ? who never does after match press conferences for 10 years ? and bans journalist that write anything shit about him regardless of the truth ! do you see anything bad written about Harry "media darling" Redknapp or Roy hodgson , who are shite managers and have nothing of note in 35 years of management ! Do you see anything written about Brendan Rodgers who has won 6 games out of 19 matches and we are 9th ? What did you feel about the Media treatment of AVB last year ?? The Media will slant and write according to there "agenda" thats how the game works mate . They dont like Rafa . and he dont give a shit about them,

Mate the reception he will get will be of the same level you will give to RDM when and if he came back to the Bridge, it will be Gigantic, he has a lot of well wishers that feel bitter and angry at the club about him leaving. I cant speak for every LFC fan but if we are not challenging for Top 4 and you guys are competing for the title, then possibly some fans discretely will hope for a Liverpool defeat for RAFA not Chelsea to win the league if that makes sense. Regarding him touching the Anfield sign, well I would not advise him to do it, but it could quite possibly be that most of the CFC fans have accepted him by then and will maybe overlook it if he does, again it depends on how successfull the team is, its all about results right now he is on a 70% win percentage, and its quiten down some of the disenters so in 4 months time he could be seen in a different light, fans are fickle mate we all want a winning team, good football, and be seen competing for trophies. By April, you guys could be league cup champions, semi of the FA cup and Europa League, and challenging still for the Premier League, How will you view him then !

Rafa the defensive coach ? it took him 4 league games to equal the biggest win in your history, against an inform team in Villa ? the last time you did that was against Wigan in party atmosphere after clinching the league title under ancelloti COMPETING against UTD without ronaldo, who by the way won the title with 4 more defeats and less points than when benitez finished runner up the season before against the best man utd team in fergusons reign in ronaldo's last and best season ! Your agenda and nonsense is just to much mate, look at the result yesterday, your oponents, and when was the last time you won there, and how many times you have won there in the last 10 yearsm and then compare it to yesterday with a goal down within 60 seconds ! you will get your answer

Sorry Mate but I really am not going to waste my energy on the drivel you spieling above, you need to go and do your research properly on the man, you do need understand football, mourinho, guardiola, van gaal, capello, ferguson , have been at the richest and biggest clubs on this planet, and therefore, Money= better players=trophies=success. and rafa has quite a few without not being employed with the financial powerhouses of the game ! but just to pick up on 1 candidate ( Hiddink.) he has won nothing at club level outside Holland prior to Chelsea, but it does not mean he is not a good coach he is. the coach you have right now is in that elite company that you have listed above, and by the way , do you know the formation 4-2-3-1 , that 70% of teams use nowadays, ? well your interim was the first to use it and develop it at Valencia and introduce it to the EPL ! go and ask anybody in the game or do your research ! You cannot be helped ,my friend, you are to ingrained with media talk, and your own agenda.

I am a Liverpool fan, so we know and watch, and look out for news, he also lives in Liverpool, and these info gets leaked out. Frank Rijkard won a European Cup, and 2 La Liga's, and regarding your comments on the rest of the managers , I leave you to feast on your information, you are letting your personal hatred of the man get in the way of your agenda of him the manager. Regarding his golden period with Liverpool, well i would know more about that than you, but I am not going to help those that cant be helped, and to be honest i know what your problem is, you are getting insecure in fear that this guy is rather good and you might have to start supporting him, and your head, mind, body, soul is in a dilema, therefore you have to continously preach hate to feel secure. Stick to your beliefs !

You are clueless with the above comments, he could have had a pick of a wide range of clubs over the last seasons, but he wanted a specific opportunity, but for your records I can confirm he turned down PSG, Roma, Atheletico Madrid before they employed simeone, and Valencia amongst others, ( have you had a look at his CV and what he has achieved, what he can do ? if you were a club owner looking to win matches, compete for trophies, make good signings, develop youth players. you will speak to Rafa , dont get your personal opinion of him get in the way to judge his ability as a coach, you should know you faced him enough times with Liverpool !! .) Also by the way Roman Abromovich is not going to take such a HUGE risk and FIGHT with his supporters if he did not have plans with Rafa ! He has offers from real madrid, and other places to analyze this summer, but I think he loves the PL, loves Liverpool, anything could happen. We would carry him back in a golden charriot if our clueless owners allow us.

Meet the man that is Benitez . http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2254994/Rafael-Benitez-buys-ticket-conned-Chelsea-fan-Harry-Rennell.html#ixzz2Ga0wLLbd Also regarding his work at the LFC academy started in 2009, well he ripped up the old blue print of youth football that LFC had and employed 3 people in key positions, Frank Mcparland, Rodolfo Borell and pep Segura who are both spanish and from the La masia set up at barcelona. Rafa started his coaching career with the real Madrid Youth team, so he knows a bit about bringing talent through, The great raul was one of his proteges from the youth team. The blue print was to get the entire club from under 8- to the first team playing in the same structure, same system, and produce local and British players and combine them with the best imports of young talent around the world, with the emphasis being on skill, team, tactical and talent development. The club has produces 12 graduates in the last 2 seasons, with the best ones yet to come., watch out for raheem sterling, but fernandes suso is going to be really special ( a david silva, juan mata, in the making.) Incidentally Pep Guardiola , regards, rodolfo borell and johan cruyff as his mentors.

Thank you mate, and I would also like to say, that I am actually a "closet blue" and have been since the day i started enjoying football from the age of 5. I come from a 95% Chelsea area, my father has a restaurant where everything from the table cloth is blue, because all the customers are blues !! All my mates are all blues, I lost my virginity to a girl wearing a chelsea shirt !!! lol... The reason I fell in love with Liverpool was because I was born in the 80's , and Liverpool were always on the TV, and i liked the red top. The reason I love rafa's work is because , with him I actually experienced some of the greatest high's as a fan in my life like you did with RDM, and Mourinho, the high's that I only experienced in DVD's of liverpool previously. The guy has a cult following no other, I am happy he is doing well, and unlike most LFC fans i m quite happy he is with chelsea !! By the way my first 10 games live were at the old bridge , my mates have been season ticket holders since High school , and we actually had dennis wise training my school team oncea s part of a competition !! he is a great guy, and a player worth few bob in todays market !

Hello chaps, what did I say !!! My prediction of 0-2 would have been spot on if the first 2 minutes if cole concentrated, but even after that your durability , pressing, and tactical discipline was awesome ! You win champions league knock outs like that, and tough premier league games on your way to the title ! I am sure most of you thought you have seen this performace before...under mourinho....! Welcome to the rafa show ! rafa rafa benitez !!!

Wow, cannot believe some of the comments here !! Cech made 2 saves, turnbull 1, header against the bar, and free kick onto a post, from an everton team probably played there best game of the season, but then Chelsea had chances too, like mata first half, cole first half just missing the cross by inches, torress could have had a hatrick second half, mata could have scored, Oscar as well. Considering Everton scored after 60 seconds they were bound to be super confident for first 20 minutes, but your team played there way back in then started controling it, you are also the first to beat them at goodison this season, and first win against everton in 8 games. Not even going to get involved in the match details, but just make a small point in saying that if you had that kind of durability defensively, the tactical discipline, the pressing, the speed of counter attacks, then you would still be in the champions league ! these kind of tactics and win like that today takes 4-6 months on the training pitch not 5 weeks !!!
-
Yes mate it to late, but if you guys are disapointed, then have a thought for us, when liverpool played in it back in 2005, we had 30 attempts, 3 disalowed goals, 3 penalties turned down, hit the cross bar, post, and a bent referee to deal with while the other team had 1 jamie carra mistake and scored the goal, and parked an aeroplane in the penalty box for the whole game. rafa lost his dad the night previously, but stayed back to coach the team and the players did everything to win the game for him but did not happen, its a really nice trophy as well. I think FiFA will make the CWC pretty big in the next 5-10 years , like a champions league tournament mainly between european and south american teams, they just need a structure and the tv money and sponsorship will flood in, it could become huge, I would love to see it. Also regarding Everton, you guys have a poor record with them last few seasons, no wins in 7, and rafa has 6 wins and 1 draw in his last seven against them, so something has to give, i think it might be more comfortable than you think, 0-2 my prediction, torres, and mata. Also as a Liverpool fan just want to say Drogba was a monster everytime you guys played us so powerful, I think if he was playing for a european country he would have been nominated for atleast 1 of the positions in the european and world footballer awards previously, he had couple of seasons of being unplayable i recall...torress was 3rd in the rankings in 2008 behind messi/ronaldo , after his first season at liverpool, great achievement

Its funny when rafa was employed all Chelsea fan said the Club world cup was irrelevant and it will be RDM's triumph, and will mean nothing. Now the match was lost it is another stick to whip him with, its all his fault etc, similar to the wearing of the red tie. The truth is, the CWC is a prestigious trophy and should be taken seriously, but unfortunately the Europeans except Spanish and Italian teams do not take it seriously, but the Brazilians and Argentinians clubs think its the holy grail. Couple of points to consider, Corinthians had over 30,000 fans in the stadium, which shows there desire to win the trophy, that transmits itself to corinthian players and management , who had been in Japan for the previous 3 weeks compared to Chelsea's 5 day vacation, which means there preparations in Japan alone had been 2 weeks more regardless of the work they had done in Brazil since winning the South American Champions League. So in a nutshell corinthians had been preparing for THAT game for 2 months, and they are no mugs, but champions of South America with highly experienced players and management that have been together longer than Rafa's 1 week. They are also a very solid team , who do not concede goals, and are almost cattenacio in there style, very un-south american in there demeanour and will lots of physical players, and even with all that preparation and rigid style, Chelsea still created 4-5 clear chances and conceded 1, which guerrero scored, so maybe Corinthians wanted it a lot more and got there reward for it. some 1 posted that maybe he should have played Mikel in that game, and I thought that too as well, but then few days later you see how influential Lampard was against Leeds and Villa, and you can see that playing lampard in that game for match fitness purposes was actually a decent shout. Maybe the Subs could have been brought on earlier, but when they did come on they had an impact , and maybe the idea was for fresh legs towards the end of the match, but only rafa will know who looked fatigued in training, but I think the desire of the players was why corinthians won it not quality, pretty similar to Chelsea champions league run last season. It was not like the UEFA super cup, where Chelsea were outplayed, outhought, and dare I say could have been humiliated by,and could have lost the game by 5 or 6, Also some1 mentions Fulham result as another stick to beat him with, and again I say, firstly Fulham have taken points of Chelsea in many other encounters, but also i think it is pretty understandable that you put out a team not to concede and lose as the hostility from the stands in the previous game and in that game was pretty intense, and if a goal goes in , then it is going to get even more hostile, and effect team confidence more. ( if I was rafa I would have played , 3-6-1, dont lose the game or I am in more trouble...) Noticeable how the first half against West ham, was , refreshing, energetic, sexy football, and the team should have been 3-4 goals up, which even big sam admitted after the game, but than errors in the second half conceded the game, ivanovich, cesar and cole gifted the goals to west ham, and you can tell by the celebrations of big sam , it was his Champions League, CWC, FA CUP, LEAGUE cup all in 1 final !!!! he really wanted to beat rafa, and it must have been the half time teal talk of his life !!!! lol...

Fair enough Shogun, by the way did he say once "you were a small club" !!! lol... its all good, mate, don't worry...

I have read all the comments and its understandable , "sometimes hatred comes from those that hurt you so much" but I thought I wind up my mersey bluenose friend about his rafa bashing the same applies to him also " we hate you because you hurt us so much , while you were the boss of our greatest rivals" ...all fair in peace and war with the blues across the mersey ....
-
Shogun. what exactly did rafa ruin at liverpool ? even in rafa's last season and the problems with hicks and gillett he still finished above you ???? the club of stability... Oh where is your academy ??/ how comes you not producing players of any decent quality ?? the man you claim ruined liverpool has structured an academy in place that has produced 12 players in the last 2 seasons, Moyes is a genuis...by the way how much has moyes has spent , do the correct figures and come back to me..its all a myth he does not spend ( how much was feilani.)...look at it carefully and all everton have achieved is a CL qaulifier against villareal...(lol) What happened to the genius of moyes even in rafa's lowest point ??? lol....you guys are so bitter ( he could not even beat Kenny D.), give the man the credit he deserves, and regarding Inter Milan , where are they now ?? go and have a look at his stats while he was with them before believing all the media bullshit,
-
Its best to wait until seasons over before admiting it !!! (lol)..just give him a chance thats what I say. By the way, I was born and raised in a 95% Chelsea area, my father has a restaurant that is all blue catering for all Chelsea fans, and I have been to stamford bridge more times than anfield in my whole life, even during the days of Ken bates and restricted views in the shed end, when tickets were £15. I have more than a passing interest in Chelsea FC, but I guess its more followed closely now, than before. by the way you have employed somebody with 6 wins out of 10 matches, imagine an LFC fan like me now who has to support a manager who has won 9 out of 31 matches this season. oh its one of your coaches ...lol....
-
Lol..I wish.. No my assessment is what has been seen before in the derbies that were played previously.everton will be a test the first 10-15 minutes, but after that you guys will take control, maybe in those games they had an inferiority complex against Liverpool and usen to get battered with the ball ...(lol)..some of the games under rafa at goodison we use to make them look very average even when they were on form. We use to beat them with 9 and 10 men, on many occassions, under rafa, I think he knows how to play Moyes, thats why i think it might be more comfortable than you think, however someone is telling me they are your bogey team, so it might be just a bit harder. 8 wins, 2 draws, 2 defeats, in the PL agaisnt the smae opposition and manger means you know how to play them.
-
Hello chaps, I think you will find the game will be more comfortable than you think, this is exactly how its going to go. Fast paced direct football from everton for the first 10 minutes, couple of set pieces early on lots of physical cahllenges, and if they do not score then the following is likely going to happen. Chelsea keep possession about 58%, and then create about 6 clear chances during the game and take 2-3 of them , Its typical everton , Everton have only beaten rafa twice in the league and have lost 8 times to him, he knows how to play them, it be more comfortable than you think. No feilani, means more good news, keep baines occupied with Hazard, and pienar through Moses, and thats Everton done. after the first 10 minutes, they will not play any football, they will defend play on the counter attack, Chelsea's movements and use of the ball will be key as you will have loads of the ball, it be a home game.
-
6 wins out of 10 matches, 4 clean sheets, 27 goals scored , not a bad start from your interim, amongst all the hostility and 4 weeks 3 days into the job. Another victory on its way against Everton I am sure rafa has 8 wins, ( 4 at goodison park.) 3 draws and 3 losses, ( 2 of them 1-0.with it being in the last minute of extra time in the FA Cup) out of 14 matches, so I think he knows how to play them and win.

Whats your stats like against Everton, Rafa has a good solid record against the dogs of war. Played 14, won 8 Drawn 3, lost 3, 4 wins at goodison park. It should be a tough win.
