Well if there looking to stop spending as of this year, it should of been done to the likes of city and madrid so i dont really think it has much to do with that and more the poaching issue. But this happens everywhere..

But if we really needed we have players like joe cole or malouda who can sit up a bit higher and play like a striker. Or even play joe cole as that attacking midfield player who sits behind the anelka.
