  1. This forum doesn't run well with internet explorer. You need to use a different one. Firefox is what most people use.
  2. Hello Welcome back to talkchelsea! Stick around this time What internet browser are you using? Internet explorer?
  3. LOL clearly he was taking the piss out of him. You would think he would just walk away...
  4. Joe cole didnt ply against inter? im pretty sure.
  5. We dont have enough players fit to be dropping player atm.
  6. Closing this thread, its just starting arguments.
  7. Being a centre back myself and playing at a pretty high level here in australia, when someone headers the ball back like that when your not expecting it. Its hard to correct yourself when your not in the best position. When he got back but he could of shut him down better but im just saying its not all Johns fault, a bit unlucky imo. But the goal in milan he should of never let him cut on inside. Big mistake.
  8. Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out replacing Marcello Lippi as Italy boss following the World Cup finals. Reports in Italy had linked the former AC Milan tactician with the post when Lippi departs when his contract ends in the summer. Ancelotti is currently in his first season with Chelsea and has the team top of the Premier League ladder despite two defeats from three outings. Chelsea are still in UEFA Champions League action and Ancelotti is keen to win Europe's top club competition before thinking of anything else. "I am not interested in the national team," he told Italian men's monthly magazine Max. "I prefer to remain in London at Chelsea and lead the team to a Champions League final." Meanwhile, Ancelotti has promised to lift the lid on his fractured relationship with Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho if they win the Premier League. "If I win the league title with Chelsea I will say what I truly think of the Inter coach," he concluded. Sky Sports I wonder what that last part means. I will be looking forward to it, if we do win. Its good to see he wants to stick around for a while!
  9. I think its a bit harsh to put the blame on terry for the tevez goal, after mikel headed it backwards he was always back footing himself trying to stay with tevez who is a very skilled player, as much as i hate him. So it would not of been easy. If terry had of kept up with him a bit more and not fallen so far behind i think he would of taken him out and taken a card for the team but Tevez was just too quick.
  10. Would most likely be the best option
  11. He said he wants to go back to brazil. I cant see him going to any other big league.
  12. Agreed but i would prefer to get a few million pounds out of him aswell.
  13. Deco has revealed that he hopes to quit Chelsea after this summer's World Cup finals and head back to his native Brazil. The 32-year-old playmaker joined the Blues from Barcelona in 2008, penning a three-year deal at Stamford Bridge. However, he has struggled to hold down first-team football during his time in England and has not been a regular under Carlo Ancelotti this term. He has started just 10 Premier League games this season and feels the time is right to move on. Deco, who represents Portugal at international level but was born and raised in San Paulo, admits a return to his South American roots would be his preference. "I want to go back to Brazil," he said in The Sun. "I still have a couple of good years of high-level football in me but I want to be near my kids." He added: "Ideally, I'd like to go after the World Cup and I've been talking to Chelsea about it." Success Deco, having failed to make the grade in his homeland as a teenager, has enjoyed a glittering career in Europe. He was part of the Porto side which dominated at home and abroad under Jose Mourinho and tasted further UEFA Champions League success during his time at Camp Nou. He could yet play a major role in helping Chelsea to domestic and European glory this season and hopes he will be given the all-clear to find a new club should the Blues end the campaign with an enviable collection of winners' medals. He said: "It will all depend on Chelsea - if the club release me or let me go on loan. Sky Sports Im happy to let him go, if the club are is another story. But i can not see why they wouldn't. Im not sure if they would just want to release him or loan him but.
  14. There is about 50 percent chance of that happening
  15. I really like Pato as a player, but i really cant see him coming to Chelsea anytime soon. I hope im wrong because i think him and Sturridge could make an awesome partnership in the future. Sturridge - Pato Aguero - Sturridge What would you prefer?
  16. A week of international fixtures was not enough to keep Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou away from Cobham on Monday. Ivory Coast used Chelsea's training ground to prepare for a match in London. The Ivorians warm-up for the World Cup by taking on South Korea at QPR's Loftus Road on Wednesday afternoon, one of several friendly fixtures that day featuring Chelsea players. There is a rematch of the 1986 and 1990 World Cup Finals when Germany, with Michael Ballack in their squad, host Argentina. England are at home to Egypt with John Terry and Frank Lampard our players selected by Fabio Capello. There are also Chelsea names in the France party taking on European champions Spain at home. They are Nicolas Anelka and Florent Malouda. Portugal are home to China with Ricardo Carvalho, Paulo Ferreira and Hilario in their squad and Branislav Ivanovic has travelled to Algeria with Serbia. Miroslav Stoch will be hoping for another Slovakian cap at home against Norway. There are competitive matches on Wednesday at Under 21 international level. Daniel Sturridge, Michael Mancienne, Jack Cork and Ryan Bertrand are all in the England party for a very important fixture at home to Greece who lead them by two points in their Euro Championship qualification group having played a game more. Netherlands Under 21s with JeffreyBruma a fixture in their defence are flying in qualification. They take on Poland at home. Italy U21s with Fabio Borini in the squad still have plenty to do as they face Hungary at home. Republic of Ireland U21s are struggling but are blooding the next generation including 18-year-old Conor Clifford who will be hoping for action at home to Armenia. Nemanja Matic's Serbia U21s play a friendly away in Macedonia. The Under 21 friendlies begin tonight (Tuesday) with Gokhan Tore in the Turkey squad hosting Slovakia. At Under 19 level Gael Kakuta is likely to play in a double header against Ukraine on Tuesday and Thursday. Jacob Mellis is away in Holland on Tuesday with England Under 19s. Sweden Under 17s, for whom Marko Mitrovic might feature, play on Tuesday and Thursday against Switzerland. Chelsea FC We have a fair few players out playing for there countries. We really need to get everyone back fit. The last thing we need at the moment is more players injured.
  17. Correct, did some research about it. I actually really like it, but alot of people dont. I think its showing pride in our history.
  18. Bosingwa is a huge loss. As much as i like seeing Ivan play on the right i still think he will be more effective in the middle. I think Bosingwa is better at taking on a player. For example the way he cuts in through the middle of the park and gets a shot off or puts a nice ball into the box. He tends to change it up a bit instead of always going down the wing.
