  1. Im with you mate. I think he will do well for us. He has my full backing. Why is every one still hating on him. He is a Chelsea player now so support him, there is nothing anyone can do about it...
  2. Good luck Yossi, I will be backing you as every other Chelsea fan should be from now on!
  3. Im sure if hes scores goals and gets many assists no one will be complaining. Just like when we had a poor run during the season and everyone was asking for Carlo to be sacked. We ended up winning the league and every one that was bad mouthing him was calling him the NEW SPECIAL ONE. Give Yossi a chance that's all I'm saying!
  4. Reina is class. Mascherano is also a quality player but that said he has self discipline issues on the field, Lunges into tackles at the risk of injuring others. Why do you question everybody's personal opinions?
  5. Out of the whole liverpool squad the two players i respect most are Benayoun and Torres. The two players we have been linked with. Now signing Yossi is not a disaster because i think he would suit our style of play. We got him cheap, so i dont see why it is such a big mistake. This will give the chances to our youth to come in and impress and earn the right to get a start each week. Yossi is a class act and i think he will shine in a Chelsea shirt. Have some faith and support the lad. In carlo we trust!
  6. Oh ok thanks for the advice guys. I does not really bother me about staying somewhere a bit further away if it is going to save me some money. I was looking for a flat, something which could maybe hold up to 3 people. Which will obviously be a bit more expensive but that can be split.. I will look around the net and try and find some information about it.
  7. Hey guys. Was just wondering if you guys could help me out with some basic information about moving to London. I was looking to come January or February of next year for around 1 year. I was just wondering if you guys could give me some basic advice. I was wondering if it hard to find jobs over there? and also what a basic wage would be?. Also is it expencive to rent closer to the Bridge? Any advice in general would be helpful! Cheers Steve
  8. Manchester City have reached an agreement with Valencia over the transfer of David Silva. The player's advisers and officials from both clubs have finalised the details over a four-year contract, which will bring the 24-year-old to City of Manchester Stadium. He will complete his medical and officially become a City player once his involvement in the World Cup is over. Speaking from his South Africa base, where he is currently fully focussed on his involvement with the Spanish national side preparing for Saturday's World Cup Quarter Final clash against Paraguay, Silva expressed his delight at securing his move to City. He said: "Firstly I would like to thank Valencia as a club and all of their loyal fans, and my team mates there and staff. I have enjoyed six years at Valencia, they discovered me as a footballer and they will always be a special club for me. "The time is right for me to seek a new challenge, and I am thrilled about playing in England with Manchester City. I believe the Premier League is one of the best competitions in the world and I want to bring success to City and win trophies for them. "There has been a lot of speculation about me in the British and Spanish media, and I need to fully concentrate on playing for Spain in the World Cup. That is why my advisors have been dealing with City for me so that I can have my attentions only on South Africa and playing well for my national team." City manager Roberto Mancini said he was pleased to wrap up the signing. He said: "I think that David Silva is one of the best midfielders in Europe, and I hope he will be a very important player for Manchester City. "I am so pleased he is coming to us, I think he can make a big, big impact for Manchester City. In signing David, we are showing the World that we are bringing the best players here and that we hope to compete to win the Premier League. When players see what is happening at Manchester City and the ambition they are attracted to what we are building and want to be a part of it." "I hope he does very well for Spain in the World Cup and then joins us for our pre-season, ready to compete in the Premier League. I am very excited about seeing him playing for Manchester City." Manchester City
  9. All these players we are supposedly reported with are never true. Don't believe all the shit you read. There are very few reliable sources on the internet. Sky sports and BBC being two of the main ones i actually take notice in. Even then until its confirmed on the official website, who knows if its true or not.
  10. Hello mate. Welcome to the forum. Stick around
  11. Ballack you will be missed by most Chelsea fans. Brilliant player and a real work horse most of the time! Best of luck to you!
  12. Ballack, whose contract at Chelsea has expired, will return to the Bundesliga after four seasons at Stamford Bridge. The 33-year-old played for Bayer Leverkusen from 1999 to 2002 before moving to Bayern Munich for three seasons. "Coming back to Bayer Leverkusen is completing the circle," Ballack said. "I had a great time and a successful run here that brings back happy memories I think about a lot. That reinforced my decision to return." German media reports said Ballack's two-year deal was worth 12 million euros. Rivals VfL Wolfsburg reportedly offered considerably more money. Ballack was ruled out of Germany's World Cup side after suffering an ankle injury in May. He has won four Bundesliga titles - one with Kaiserslautern and three with Bayern Munich. He also won domestic titles with Chelsea. Ballack has never won a major international title despite making it to the Champions League final twice. He missed the 2002 World Cup final, when Germany lost to Brazil, due to suspension. In 2006, Germany lost in the semi-finals to Italy and at Euro 2008 Germany lost to Spain in the final. 15. Welcome back, stick around.
  16. Happy birthday for the other day mate!
  17. There is nothing Completed yet. Until its announced officially by Man City website i wont believe it.
  18. A replacement for Ballack is already sorted in the likes of Nemanja Matic. Now i think the only reason the club would not stick with him and give him game time would be because he does not have the Experience. That Said i personally think he is talented enough to be playing on a Regular basis in a Chelsea shirt. That Deco and Joe Cole space in the creative midfielder role should be taken by Gael Kakuta. He has shown us that he has the skills and the vision to split a defense apart. Now towards the end of the last season, Gael seems to of went out of favour with Carlo Ancelotti. For me i think the only reason that happened is because of the time of the season and the importance of the games. I have all the faith in the world that Gael will be a star but, i still think he lacks the Maturity to play important games. For that reason i think thats why he went out of favour and i think we will see alot more of him this season. Regarding the release of Miroslav. I dont think any Chelsea fan can figure out the reasoning on why we sold him. The only logical reasoning that i can think of, is that he wanted to leave on his on will.
  19. I voted no. But i honestly have no idea if he will or not. If he did it would not surprise me because he has shown interest.
  20. Happy Birthday to Lamps. Hope he scores a goal in the world cup i think he deserves it.
  21. Was just about to post this. He is a class act. But he does play on the left wing. I don't watch enough Spanish football to say whether or not he can play in other positions though.
  22. Franco has plenty of time to prove that he can make it in the EPL but i honestly cant see it being with Chelsea. It will take him a very long time to get the experience that he needs to play for a big club. He needs to start taking his chances better. At blackburn in the very little game time that he got he missed some very good chances to score goals and impress. His positioning was right most of the time, and you can see from his play that he can be a good player but time is the answer.
