Just tuned in after studying. How have we played? How's KDB been?
-
Maybe the reason there were no instances from his time in England were because that article was written when he had just come to Chelsea? He is a great person and I feel really sorry for him? Does an egomaniac work morning till night and show so much dedication and passion for his team? Oh what an egomaniac.
-
Ego maniac? Mate r u sure? According to his players, he is one of the most humble and kind person around. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4044360/Chelsea-news-Its-official-Andre-Villas-Boas-is-kind-caring-and-compassionate.html This article can't been seen now cos of the whole Plus thing http://www.goallegacy.net/t15025-villas-boas-kind-caring-and-compassionate Since the article can't be read there, Read it here: http://www.chelsea.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=527210 Ego Maniac? I don't think so...

Drogba's returning home! Mixed feelings cos I don't want to see us play against Drogba yet the idea of Drogba back at the Bridge is amazing!
-
Alright just got my internet back today! JMac? Chalobah? Would be nice to see them. Mate transition isn't bringing a 35 year old Lampard back into the team? How is transition bringing older players back?
-
Struggling to get the logic behind WBA sacking Steve Clarke....
-
Hull-Stoke. Game of the Season.
-
@Tomo pity you are leaving man. You seemed really experienced and it was nice having you in the game. Best of luck mate.
-
Agree mate. Some people are just shocking. When JT retires. David Luiz will be the best CB at this club! IMO our partnership should be Terry-Luiz! Luiz is a world class player and I saw a stunning analysis about him here by Gary Neville. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PuL7MhAVJOQ Just look at his passes! How often does he set up attacks from the deep or charge forward and help us apply pressure on an opponent!
-
Who wouldn't play negative against City at the Ethiad (especially when you have a much weaker team than them) ? We played negative against Bayern this season too (which is something EVERYONE playing against Bayern will do so I am not saying that's wrong). ik we had some terrible games with Benitez but we've not been much better under Mourinho (or arguably worse) with a better team which is frustrating!
-
tbf fair to the lads against WH we were just ridiculously wasteful. That stuff is no better than what we are seeing right now. Mate if we win the title then I'll be happy but judging by the way we're going-we're not making too much progress. I remember Mourinho's 1st interview with Chelsea TV he gave as soon as he came (during my exams) and he said that his main aim was improvement (I apologise for underling and bolding but I often have a habit of highlighting key points). There's not been too much improvement. Moreover I don't want to see us nicking a point at home to WBA or scraping a win at home to Crystal Palace. You can't have that at this level.
-
Sake of balance? We parked the bus against Basel (who we brushed aside last season) and played negative vs United (who drawing with now seems embarrassing considering Newcastle, West Brom and Everton have won there ) Rafa allowed Nathan Ake to play and even tried Oscar in the pivot vs Sunderland. Who says he wouldn't have given KDB a chance?
-
Mate are you judging Mourinho based on what he's achieving now or what he achieved 6-8 years ago? It's been a poor start and we aren't much better than last season (and we have more players than last season and we have players who have gained experience). The way things are going we're spiraling downwards like the Cypriot economy. We built a reputation last season of being a side that plays attractive football, we've all but almost lost that. We haven't played any attractive football this season (oh 45 mins v Hull and 20 mins v Villa). Remember how last season (RDM and Rafa) we used to always play neat 1-2s? Little side-heels, back-heels. It was so awesome! Last season against Nordsjaelland and Villa we were almost creating a chance every second and the football was top class! This season we made games vs Crystal Palace and Steaua Bucharest at home seem like title games......
-
Mourinho would have neglected MVG in the same way he's neglecting the enormously talented Kevin De Bruyne. We saw it in the 1st few games in the beginning of the season that Mourinho wasn't too content on playing MVG.....
-
@xPetrCechx, Yea there is a cold period going through the Mediterranean. I live in Nicosia, Cyprus and I saw some snow! YES IN NICOSIA I SAW SNOW! (ofc that snow just melts in a few seconds ;p) This is what it looked like It's never been so cold here as it is currently! Thank god the weather's going to improve next week!
-
Remember how people last season used to search for reasons to blame everything on Rafa? Ranging from results to whether he was deliberately trying to destroy our club?
-
  :fainthv9: Sell such a top class player? HUH!?!?!?!
-
And I'd like to add that players like Hazard, Oscar, Azpi have an extra year's exp in the PL.
-
Transition? I didn't know Transition involved insisting on playing a 35 year old rather than playing a youngster. So transition involves playing a player who will retire soon rather than a player who is the future of the club? As much pressure as David Moyes has been in he's still been encouraging their young talent, Adnan Januzaj. Just read this post by Rmpr

U r talking about the QPR game but we've lost 2-0 to Newcastle, lost to Stoke and had Basel do a double on us (with a better team then last year and a 'God' of a manager) Moreover, you just skipped half of the points in my post (pasted below)! Debatable penalty vs Arsenal? People were arguing that should be a red card lol. Anything to show Mourinho is better than others eh? http://www.soccer-blogger.com/2013/01/20/chelsea-vs-arsenal-2013-highlights-2-1-mata-lampard-penalty-walcott-goals-video/ Now I wasn't in the forum when Cap was around but I've heard about him, we have convos on Twitter and he made a great point in saying: That we're judging Mourinho based on what he achieved back in his 1st stint. He went on to state that in sports u r only as good as your last season and that Mourinho failed in Madrid (don't argue with me about Madrid since I'm no Real Madrid expert ) You can actually read a bit of the convo here: https://twitter.com/TheShark94/status/404998308499693569 (just scroll up)

Ivanovic couldn't cross out a student's incorrect answer. God knows why we keep playing him at RB...
-
So the game plan Mourinho is trying to develop is: "Kill off our opponents by boring the pants out of them!" Is that it?
-
He brought Piazon on once when we were 6-0 up Regarding the highlighting bit, if it was so easy then why didn't AVB or Robbie crack it? Bought more players since then haven't we? Since AVB came we have bought (if I had to name some of the players who have played since then): Cahill (came in January during AVB reign), KDB (didn't play during AVB reign -was in Genk), Marin, Hazard, Oscar, Azpilicueta, Moses, Ba, Schurrle, Van Ginkel, Schwarzer, Willian, Eto'o So you mean to say that AVB had the same team as Mourinho has? On top of that some of these players have a season's worth of experience in PL as well now. Moreover, Mourinho has almost 10 years exp in this level and ofc as u say, is God surely such a Godly character is not worth being compared with mere mortals...... What about that Mourinho teams defend well thing? Where's all of that been? The start of this Mourinho reign has been quite disappointing and what's more humiliating is that Arsenal/Liverpool who spend nowhere close to the amount of money we do, are above us(in Liv's case were above us)! We're relying on solo goals, defensive errors and counter attacks to score. We almost CANNOT score when we are in possession of the ball. all that intricate football is GONE, all those fancy 1-2s are GONE, all the neat attractive to the eye football is GONE remember the days we used to do this? Remember the games vs Man United, Tottenham, Arsenal, Norwich last season? All that amazing football that was so pleasing to the eye. It seems like 10 years ago now....... and here's a reminder of all those beautiful goals http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-qjv92bV44 (watch on youtube to see part 2)

You know Rafa did a better job trying to promote the youngsters at the club (and he was a short term manager) than Mourinho has so far. Rafa gave Ake and Piazon chances. Jose has ditched Ake. People here are acting as though it is 'Mourinho masterclass' that we are two points of the table. Well with the amount of money we've spent, don't you think that this team sort of HAS to be challenging for the title? We look disgusting going forward and one more point: "Mourinho teams are great in defence. Rock solid." Really? Just look at us messing up basic crosses.
-
We were incapable of even knocking the ball to each other to kill off 20 seconds remaining in a game. Disgusting performance. We managed to win cos the opposition was so weak. Cannot afford to play any games like this. It's just embarassing that we played so poorly in a HOME game against CRYSTAL PALACE.
