I do think it has to do with us being spoiled by Mata and Hazard (and Oscar to some degree) .... We should not show too much hybris , player like Isco would add something. REALLY. HOW good he will become, nobody knows and that is a fact. But it is one exciting young guy.

Regardless of this discussion - which I find futile - I do rate Isco very highly. I think he is one exciting young talent .... Just think what he could accomplish with Mata, Hazard and Oscar. I really don't get it. When I just joined here I saw a LOT of people going on about his defensive mistakes, judgement errors and so on - but watching all the games actually continuously made me think this was a bandwagon opinion based on previous (more youthful) performances. The surplus Luiz adds in general play vastly outweighs the occasional lack of judgement. By the way ... as a Belgian .... Kompany and Verthongen also do that. Still! So what do we want actually ? A perfect defender? Welcome to Narnia. Let's not replace our best CB - but instead add young talent. I swear Luiz will even be better next season. Like good wines ages with years.
