Hello everyone, I am french, I am a Lille fan, and of course, because it is now indissociable, an Eden Hazard Fan. First i have to say congratulation for your recent european victory (Drogba... what a player !) and for this brilliant signing, you will not regret it. IMHO, but i may be biased of course, it was the best opportunity in the market window this summer. As every LOSC fans, I have followed him for the last 6 years, and until it was 100% sure a part of me still wouldn't believe he would leave us this summer, and that i would never see him play in a LOSC jersey anymore I came here to talk about the lad, because i'm still grieving his loss and it might seem foolish but somehow i feel the need to "pass the torch" to his lucky new fans. I am sure that many of you do not really know him yet, and i know that youtube vids are not enough to get the potential of a player. So i don't know if you already spoke to Lille fans, but if you have any question about the lad, do not hesitate to ask. Let me reassure you first, he is worldclass. He will probably never reach the level of Messi or Ronaldo, but i think he has the potential in him to be very close to them, and why not win a ballon d'or some day. To be completely honest, even if this will not please you to hear this, i hoped he would choose United because i think Ferguson was the best manager for him to reach his full potential. I also want to make a clarification : i know that during this transfer saga he sounded a bit like an arrogant prick. It's true that he himself could have handled this better, but i mostly blame the media and his very dumb agent for that. Trust me, he is NOT like this. He has NEVER been a diva in LOSC, although he easily could have been considering his superiority comparing to his partners. He always abides to the coach's rules, and is very well loved among his partners. I don't know about his personal life, but on the field he has never been selfish (his 20 assists this season prove it) or put his interest above the club's. The only thing he can be blamed for as a player, is his lazyness during training, which he really doesn't like. That'll be IMO the thing he will have to work on if he wants to succeed in the Premier League. So please do not let yourself influence by this first impression you had during this transfer saga. I have a few questions myself : Do you know exactly the amount of the transfer fee ? In France they are talking about 40m euros but there are no official sources concerning this number. Who is likely to be your new manager ? Will Roman keep Di Matteo ? I want to know who will have the honor to make of our Eden one of the best players in the world.... Do you know if the club will loan some players this summer ? I am thinking about Kevin De Bruyne of course, it is said that our manager is interested by his profile.... And if so, do you think the fact we sold you Eden will give us the lead ? Some things you probably didn't know about Hazard : Not only he is a great winger (he won a ligue 1 title and ligue 1 best player of the year award playing in that position), but when Rudi Garcia, for the need of the team, put him in a midfielfer position (due to the departure of Cabaye and his poor choice as replacement) he didn't complain at all and took fully the lead of the game, becoming even more decisive than before. For the third year in a row, he is the most fouled player in ligue 1, even in all five major championships this year. And this season 11 of these fouls were made in the box, making him the player that prokoked the more penalties (same as Messi). Despite this, he has never been injured in his carreer ! And also he never lost his temper because he simply doesn't know what it's like to get a red card ! Never happened in his life ! That is completely unreal but the bloke seems unbreakable. In fact he played the last 109 matches of ligue 1, didn't miss any ! This makes him the current recordman of the most consecutive ligue 1 games (a record soon to be broken by our goalkeeper Mickael Landreau, in october if all goes well for him). That's all for now. See you
