Remember, not too long ago we were talking about size player for Chelsea´s midfield. Now, we have got it. Matic at 1.94cm is towering figure, defensive mid, just ahead of the two centrebacks, to kick some asses there, staying deep in midfield, playing an anchorman, that´s exactly what Jose wants, I feel.

Therefore I believe, he monitored Matic well, looked into his contribution for Chelsea & decided to pay 21m or so for him. As you might seen, I wasn´t too happy about the summer deal with Lukaku, but now I must admit the rest of the deals were spot on, ( Willian) Whatever happens now, we will see soon. One thing I know this club is going places, I feel. I even believe, Chelsea may win the PL in this season, despite of having shitty strikers.

So Matic is on & Guarin can go fishing now.

Football is business, these days. Either you know how to run it or you end up as Benfica. Football in UK has changed a lot, the day Roman bought Chelsea. If I remember correctly, Manures & Arsenal were running the show, then. Suddenly, this little Russian came by, splurged around 200m, Jose won trophies & Chelsea has been winning for a decade or so. To buy, Matic for 21m or around there, might appear too much for some folks. After all, Chelsea sold him for 3m as part of Luiz deal, but bought him from Kosice of Slovakia for 1.3m. Somehow, I am a bit worried for Mata now. If Matic comes on board, this could be the end of Mata even in January.

Benfica is not doing well, financially. Jose will never be so stupid to pay 21m plus two players worth another 10m or so. Therefore, take it or leave it, will follow.

Since MATIC (that´s his correct name for some here) was part of Luiz deal. Currently, Matic is much better than two years ago. Therefore, much higher price, these days. Jose knows why he wants him back. Slowly, Jose is building " his team. " Money were made for KDB, Chelsea adds several millions for Matic & the shrewdest club in UK moves on. Chelsea is rolling into stratoshere under the Jose´s guidance. This club, within two or three years will win major trophy, preferably CL would be my choice. Have faith, patience, & keep on trucking. Matic is regarded as one of the best mid-fielders around, just bring him back where he belongs.

Thanks 19, All I did was posted rumors, but somehow I was insulted for it by our famous scouse. LOL. I too feel, Chelsea had milked the Germans well here. Whether, KDB is gonna become a great player, nobody knows now. Maybe he will ? One thing I know, seen, Chelsea were too big of a club for him to overcome. Mentally he failed here.

According to the report KDB was bought for 6.7m pounds. Today, we read he is sold for around 17m pounds, even that´s not final. Additional money might be added, later. Oscar as of today, is worth close to 32-35m, I feel.

Not all players should be sold for profit. Plenty of these young players must be given a chance to play. KDB was given a chance, but some might say not a very good one. However, he did not make the most of it though.

Well, since it´s official that means the deal is worth 17504301.5158 pounds today, as I indicated two days ago. A great business for Chelsea. sad to see him go, but sometimes it goes that way.

To sell Sturridge was not a very shrewed deal. The guy was not getting a proper chance to play because of Torres was deemed as the starter, then. Today, we can clearly see Sturridge is scoring goals. Currently, his 10 goals are much more than any Chelsea´s striker. He was even not playing for several weeks due to injuries.

Matic has done very well at Benfica. Most people speak very highly of him. Therefore, the high price.
