When you say someone like Cruz, it tells me that you only know what the liberal media and leftists have said. Cruz is a Constitutional Conservative. That means that at the Federal level, the Government only has the power specifically provided it by the Constitution. It means that his positions and what he would do as president are based on rule of law not what he wants. For example he is staunchly against gay marriage personally, but when he's asked if he would ban it if he could if becomes president he tells people that same sex marriage is a States right issue not a Federal issue. Obama and Leftists on the other hand have no problem using the Federal government as a hammer to force what they want on people that don't want it and have voted against on one hand, and ignore laws against illegal immigration and illegal drugs on the other (I personally don't care if drugs are legalized but laws need to be overturned not ignored.) I strongly believe in Constitutionality being the only determining factor in whether laws are created at the Federal level and that States have the right to make laws that fit the people that live in them in all matters that that responsibility is not delegated to the Feds. Ted Cruze is the only politician running for President that has walked the walk in this regard so I support him.

At a brokered convention it would go to Rubio. Cruze and Trump would get locked out. The establishment would rather throw the election to Hildog than support either of them. I say that as a Cruze supporter that donates regularly to his campaign.

Going all out on gun control is 0bama cynically deflecting attention with help from his lapdog media and fellow leftists the fact that he said isis couldn't attack us here, that they were JV, and that why did conservatives fear women and children refugees (it turns out to be 70% military aged males...) being imported here and it turns out that the woman is the one who radicalized the man.

So the short truncated version is, there's no video of the shooting but you say it's definitely a racial killing. It's not. It's an American Police thing. James Boyd and Kelley Thomas were killed by police on video for no reason and the police were ruled justified. It doesn't matter the race they'll kill you as soon as you give them an excuse. The other races just don't riot about it. Blacks make up 13% of the population. If they decide to race war like you're advocating them to do there'll only be one possible outcome. Historical injustices are that, history. Why is it that a Pakistani or Iraqi or a Nigerian, or Somali, or Ethiopian or Indian can come here and be successful if we were such a racist country? The "keeping it real" "thug culture" that permeates such a large percentage of the urban communities is what's holding them back. In them when a black child tries to do well he's bullied and told he's "acting white". There's more but it'll be for another day.

If they spent half the energy they do on that on pushing education and work, maybe they could help instead of make things worse. The truth is that none of those looting and burning give a flip about Mike Brown. It's an excuse to steal and commit mayhem.

You hit a cop or don't listen to an order to get on the ground, you're going to get shot. What is allowable police use of force is so loose (reasonable officer standard (instead of the reasonable man standard) presumption of good faith, Graham vs Connor, Tennessee vs Garner etc) that it's no surprise, if fact anyone that has any knowledge of the law knew the officer was going to be no billed. This is the case that should have gotten the attention this case has as it was also ruled to be justified with everything caught on video. There's just no Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson to agitate and manufacture outrage for non blacks.

They did worse than they did in the last election, with no democrat running for statewide office getting more than 39% of the vote.
