I love everyone's reactions compared to after the Napoli game, everyone was praising the old guard but at the end of the day they only want to play good when they have too. I can't wait for next season, just hire a manager and sign him for 5 years and don't sack him. Mata either needs a rest or should stick to playing on the left and roaming into the centre

I understand the club needs to phase out the old guard and players that aren't performing and inject some young, hungry and talented youngsters. I hope we promote most of our youth team. I think the club is aware of the situation but for now we have to work with what we got. But i complete understand your point too

Can we just be positive about the squad we have now, they have shown us what they are capable of doing when we fully support them. Let's wait to analyse the squad after the season has finished. :cfc:

It will be very hard to keep a clean sheet against Napoli's attack and it will be hard for us to convert our chances into atleast 2 or 3 goals if we do conceed one. But fingers crossed, i hope we name a strong attacking side that can expose their 3 at the back

Honestly, i have no clue what Lampard did to deserve that Captain's armband it should have been given to Cech, Essien or Ivanovic they are the only ones that showed some pride. Oh thats right Lampard has turned to the media to have a cry because he has started to decline as a player and he blames others.

The old guard is either sold off or phased into impact player roles They all think they are bigger than the club, i love most of them and they will forever be club legends but this season they all think they are bigger than the club I hope AVB does not go, it will achieve nothing. So we didn't sign Cahill, De Bruyne and maybe he didn't sign anyone else because we have alot of talent out on loans that will come into the first squad during the summer.
