Mata is a different breed of player. He enjoys scoring and assisting equally. Sturridge on the other hand would only pass when its literally impossible to get a shot on goal. He has talent yes but I seriously doubt he will ever be a decent winger for us.

Sturridge needs to be benched for a while. The problem is you cant play Torres on the wing. Malouda is just as shit and Kalou cant dribble past players. I dont think we will play 2 strikers against Man city. That would be suicidal.
