Love how many people are putting Lukaku in their starting XI. Not going to happen though. He did Tweet this though, so I'm guessing he has been selected for a spot on the bench:

I think it's pretty clear it's Lille. He wil go in the summer window though, that's for sure. Where? Don't know, if Lukaku gets more playing time he might be a factor for Hazard (they get along very wel at national team training). But the same goes for City and Kompany. Hazard is somebody who wants to prove the world the opposite of what is being told in general. Currently, a lot of media are claiming that he would better suit in the Spanish league and would not fit in the Premier League. So I think he wants to prove now that he can make it in the EPL.

If De Bruyne is in form like last year, he would be an asset for Chelsea NOW. But currently, he's a bit out of form and at this moment he's not good enough to help Chelsea. This has many reasons, mainly being Genk's poor performance in the league and him being stressed with all these tranfer speculations. But it doesn't look like Genk is going to have a better second part of the season, so letting him stay at Genk won't help his progression at all. It might hold him back a bit actually. So if Chelsea does buy him, I think the best option is to transfer him immediately. Genk is much less dependant on De Bruyne this season (compared to last season), so I'm confident that with a bit of extra cash it's possible.

So basicly Chelsea is buying the front-line of the Belgian national team? Maybe add Fellaini as well. ^^

I just hope his tornado run made AVB realise his does deserve 10 to 15 minutes of playtime every game. Maybe a start against QPR in the FA Cup, don't see it happening though.

The current AVB system would work if there was a decent amount of creativity. But there isn't, so two options: - buy a creative player, stick to the formation - change the formation so the focus is less on creativity, try to make the best

I wouldn't call his sub class. He was okay, due to the circumstances. His long run was superb, but other than that he barely got a touch of the ball. Which isn't his fault entirely. He was asking for the ball constantly. That's the thing Lukaku did show a lot of determination. A certain need, passion to get the team the win. I didn't feel that from other players. He's not ready to start, he needs subs like this. I thank AVB for that. He doesn't need subs like the last couple of games were he had 0 to 90 seconds of playtime. Give him 15 to 20 minutes every game and he will become better and better.

Didn't Torres looked more fired-up when he came on for Drogba? I'd say start Lukaku for about 60 minutes, sub him for Torres. If he can't show 300% determination then (being picked over by an 18 year old dude), game over.

I'm pretty sure we won't see Lukaku for another 10 games or so. I'm pretty confident AVB doesn't has much trust him in. Can't see him starting ever under AVB. Not that he should at the moment, let that be clear.

I know he made a bad decision with that dribble at the end. But that's normal for a player hardly getting any minutes, he wants to prove himself. But others are correct, he doesn't need to go to the wing. He needs to get passed deep, so he can make a great run like he did when he just came on. That's his strength, few players can combine strength and pace like him.

Oh c'mon, the player you pick on after this game is Lukaku? He didn't do worse or better than any other player. Fuck off.

Because Torres was tired, missing 100% chances and clearly frustrated.
