God have mercy please, keep away Torres from this club... If we buy him, this would be one of the greatest mistake done by this club ! First of all, like @Styles and @Madmax have said, he's the Shevchenko number 2. The lad is finished for the english football. He can't no more deal with the physic part in football. Since he has 18 years old he is over used by his different coachs. The guy has past his best... I don't think he has a lot to offer to us... Plus this year, he hasn't shown commitment with Liverpool, and it's exactly what we don't need. We already have Drogba, Anelka and Essien for that. And like Kostas has said, if we offer £40m + for Torres will probably cancel our chance for Luiz, and to a lesser extent will cancel any deals with Neymar/Lukaku. And for Jesus sake, a 'pack' Neymar+Luiz would be 100 times better than Torres... And finally, £40m, what the fuck ?!! Two years ago I would have said yes ! It makes sense in my opinion. He is really an injury prone player, so he isn't reliable. So I would understand our board on this matter. Plus like TX said, I doubt he will want to be behind Luiz (of course if Luiz comes), and maybe even behind Ivanovic, in the picking order. Though I would be a bit sad if he leaves us.

I really hope Josh will start the game. Because with Lampard injured, he is our only one creative player (well, Malouda is also quite good for create goal occasions, but he plays below par at the moment, and Kakuta is also a creative player but the few times he plays, he's out of position). And if he doesn't start, the game will be the same shit which we have seen during 3 months. If Kakuta isn't on the team sheet, this will probably mean that he will be loaned to Fulham - which is a good thing. Depending on the score, we must replace Terry, 'cause I really fear that he picks up a new injury... And it will allow to Bruma to have some needed minutes of football. I would bench Essien, 'cause he has been very poor lately, and Mikel seems to be fit, then he can take back 'his' position. I would also bench Drogba, for the same reason. Then, move Anelka to the axis and put Sturridge on the right wing.
