The main problem is the American verbally told Benfica we we're willing to pay the 120M, Benfica came to the table BECAUSE of this, they we're willing to negotiate instead of buyout knowing Boehly told them an offer around 120M was on the table. The negotiations and time wasting happened because Benfica was told something and as soon as they discussed Boehly came up with other numbers 85M.
