Something unfair is happening here, I fully get the anger about Russia invading the Ukraine but I'm seeing lots of normal Russian civilians being criticised and discriminated against like it's their fault.
I think the agenda is to turn the Russian people against Vladimir Putin so they will protest etc but the problem I see with that is this is a guy who sent people to England to poison a guy in Salisbury, he says "it wasn't me" but he really is ruthless and doesn't care if anyone knows he did it, this is a guy who locks up protestors and isn't afraid to instruct people to use force.
So when lots of Russians end up getting beaten during protests, maybe killed, will we help them? no.
Same with all these countries offering to home the Ukrainian people that flee their country - they want the easy job of helping people run away - but didn't and won't do anything to help the Ukrainian people defend their country from the invasion. Don't get me wrong it's good that countries are welcoming the Ukraine people but it would have been nice to have actually helped them stop their country being invaded in the first place.
In my opinion, if Roman Abramovich was to come out and criticise Vladimir Putin - his life would be in grave danger as would the lives of his family, it's all well and good for Piers Morgan to sit there saying Roman is a coward for not criticising Putin etc but we all know Piers wouldn't if he had family living in Russia.
I wish Roman Abramovich all the best for the future and am grateful for everything he has done for this club, it's sad that his nationality is being used to turn people against him.
We have a Prime Minister and his team who while people were dying or locked up in their houses were having 8 or more 'gatherings' and they openly lie about it, sometimes they even joke about it - I ask myself... with that kind of attitude - on the day the Russians invaded the Ukraine did they sit around the office table and say "fantastic this will take the heat off us for Party-Gate" ? I don't believe for one minute that it hasn't crossed any of their minds.
