  1. You know there are several rules that can be applied to the same situation right? Whatever mate I wont battle with you. If you want to dig into this more you can read here for instance: https://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/lawsandrules/laws/football-11-11/law-12---fouls-and-misconduct
  2. Ive followed Chelsea since ´99 and im not saying we havent had our share of "getting shafted". But I can also think objectively and this red card to me was quite clear after I analyzed it abit.
  3. You should carefully read the rules if you think that this means its never a penalty and/or red card
  4. Of course its a red card. You either dont have a clue about the rules and/or didnt see the sequence. Or, be my guest and explain why it isnt a red card. And just saying "because it his his thigh first" isnt enough.
  5. Which part? A player being sent off because of clearing the ball from going in the net with his arm? I was actually really upset when this happened aswell, but honestly if you look at what he is doing it is quite clear. Its just a clumpsy act that in 9/10 cases leads to a red card.
  6. I think if you watch the sequence again, this rule will apply to what happened: It is an offence if a player: deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, including moving the hand/arm towards the ball You can actually see that, after the ball hit his thigh and then arm, he uses his arm to clear the ball.
