If this goes through, clubs like arsenal will be FINISHED. Kroenke is not going to invest a dime of his money in the club when he is Guaranteed an "elite status". Domestic league will have no meaning for most of the teams after 2 months as 2nd place will be worth as much as 17th. Games will lose value, players will stop caring (happens every year in nba when they just "tank"). Read about Orlando magic and what they did this season by trading away their 3 best players, just for a better draft pick. This americanization of football will not be the death of football.
