It can reoccur after we get into champions league. He will have months to rest. Seriously?
-
You had to get political? Really? We might as well talk about the British empire fucking up the entire world and redrawing borders. Come on..
-
Despite, your tone. I tend to agree. I think frank just don’t like yanks. Can’t think of another explanation for constantly benching our most productive player.
-
Looked pretty fit to me. Pretty much a stone cold indictment of Frank’s judgement. How can you see it any other way?
-
One really has to question Frank. Yeah, let’s leave our best player on the bench for the biggest game of the year. What a twat.
-
To the people replacing divots for CHO on this message board. Ask yourself, did he help the team when he came on? Exactly,
-
One piece of skill won the game. Puli motm for me again
-
Well, read my whole post.. the second to last sentence is what you just said.
-
Pulisic created both goals. Rest of the squad needed step up. Pulisic definitely our MOTM. We need more creative players. That’s all there is to say about CFC at the moment.
-
He was 19 or 20 yrs old at Dortmund. Giving frank credit for his finishing is mighty rich... look at his last 3 games at Dortmund after coming off of injury. He was a beast. Giving Frank credit for constantly benching the lad and therefore improving his strike rate is just misplaced acclamation at its finest. Yeah, frank did it. Ugh...
-
Easy fix. Put a couple hammerhead donkeys up front and hurl the ball onto their dumbass chrome domes. Problem solved.
-
Not complaining about starts of a particular player. Complaining about the manager doing counter intuitive things. I support Chelsea. Not a particular player or manager.
-
Listen, I simply don’t understand when a manager subs off a player that looks likely most to bag a goal and then says in a presser he looked tired and that is why he was taken off. It’s not nonsense.
-
I understand player management. Normally you don’t sub off a player who looks most like he’s got a goal in him. Pulisic looked to have a goal in him and was taken off. A lot of us saw it that way, yet Frank say Pulisic and Mount look tired. Don’t understand it and the game went to shit from there. That’s all.
-
I come back to the reality that Lamps has been taking off one of our more dangerous players when we need goals and subbing on an even more inexperienced and more unproven player. I just don’t get it and I have to wonder what he is thinking.
-
And was the first sub off the last 3 of 4. I could name 4 other player in each of those games that should have been first. Look at the history of him under Lampard. Word was he was looking for a lone until he grabbed his chance at Burnley. Lampard said to the press that it was his plan to rest him cause he had international duty last summer. I call bollocks on that. Pulisic forced his way into his plans. I’m not saying I am 100% correct. It is just what I gather from the outside. I can’t reconcile it otherwise.
-
In all seriousness, maybe he looked tired or off the pace cause he has been made to sit unnecessarily. Most of us, and the pundits alike, have clearly seen that he has been one of our most creative attacking players. I watched every game closely. In the Southampton and Bournemouth fixtures, he didn’t play bad. They parked the bus and no one fed him the ball. Frank just sits him and puts in CHO who’s done nothing. According to franks own presser, he had a tight groin and not even a pull or a strain, yet didnt even make him available. 2 days later, Puli says on his Twitter he is 100% healthy... something is rotten in Denmark. I’m thinking Frank don’t like Pulisic for some reason. Personality differences or something. Can’t think of a more logical conclusion. Either that or he don’t know what he is doing.

Lampard don’t like yanks
-
Just happy to not see Emerson not do anything.
-
At least Emerson wasn’t on the pitch today to pass backward and not do anything. Franks got that right at least
-
Well, Pulisic seemed a bit off pace due to his recent lack playing time but, honestly, had 3 good chances and they seemed to be building just as he was pulled off. So the CHO substitution didn’t come off. Although Mount didn’t do much, the Kovacic sub ended up being a negative. It’s a young team, So inconsistently is expected. I just hope the attitude and morale is kept high in the team by Frank. I hope it’s youth and inconsistency and not morale rot or negativity.
-
Who would he replace? Pulisic? Willian? mount? Honestly, as good of a young player mount is, he plays the position which an upgrade would be most impactful. Sancho doesn’t fit our most important needs, at the moment. Unfortunately, Frank seems to fancy Mount too much for the sensible upgrade. We shall see.
-
Happy but very lucky 3 points today. Thank god for their shite defense.
-
I blame Lampard for his horrid set up last game. 5 defenders and starting CHO over a rested and ready Pulisic. If we would have taken 3 points at home then, he wouldn’t be getting stick now. Tough to defend this IMO
-
This please Frank... and stick with it. Enough with the resting and rotation. Stick with a squad and let them learn each other. This is a lesson Frank could learn from Roy Hodgson. And for fuck sake, Emerson Palmeri is a gigantic turd and brings nothing to the attack and I don’t give a shite how many vowels are in his surname!
