  1. Alfred Gomis will be the new Rennes goalkeeper. Agreement reached with Dijon for €14m. Will play his last match as a Dijon player today.
  2. Guimaraes, Zakaria, and Partey won't cost more than €60m unlike Rice.
  3. I won't be so sure about that, it depends on who the manager is because they might have different playstyle. For example a DM who isn't very technical won't work in a team which use tiki-taka.
  4. Milan haven't give up on Fofana. He is the main target for the CB position, they would reinvest the money from Paqueta's sale in him. Leicester and West Ham are interested but Milan continue to work under the radar for him. At least €25m required.
  5. Bulka set to extend his contract with PSG and then loaned to Spain before the end of next week.
  6. Ibrahim Sangare on his way to PSV for €9m.
  7. Arsenal offers €35m for Aouar. Negotiations between the two clubs have entered the concrete phase.
  8. Aouar agrees to join Arsenal. The player prioritizes Barcelona or Juventus but no concrete offer have been made. Talks ongoing between Lyon and Arsenal.
  9. Bayern have offered to raise David Alaba's wages to just under £290,000 per week, bonuses included, in a 4 year deal. The player's camp are pushing for a salary closer to £400,000 a week for 5 years. Bayern are both unwilling & unable to go beyond their offer. The biggest factor is money, internal calculations point to a coronavirus-related loss of revenue of €100-150m in the calendar year depending on the extent of stadium restrictions and knock-on effects on sponsorships. Bayern are aware that putting Alaba in or near the Lewandowski/Neuer bracket would result in strong pressure inside the dressing room with the likes of Serge Gnabry and Joshua Kimmich demanding improved deals. The club feel they are in a strong enough position because unlike in the case of Thiago, there's no other club willing or able to meet Alaba's demands and pay a transfer fee this summer. Zahavi has offered the player to clubs in Spain, Alaba's preferred destination if he cannot stay in Munich, but Barcelona or Real Madrid are both out as far as big transfers are concerned. A number of Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester City, have made loose inquiries this summer but Alaba has shown himself categorically disinterested in a move to England. Bayern have a suspicion that Zahavi might be deliberately quoting sums that the club can't meet in an effort to stall and run down Alaba's contract. Representing the player as a free agent would put him and Alaba's father in a position to conclude an even more lucrative deal. If Alaba won't agree a new deal, Bayern are increasingly minded to keep him for one more year & then see him leave. They have plenty of depth in the centre-back positions. Alaba's wages can instead be spent on another high class addition in a more pressing position.
  10. Lyon is trying to bring back Umtiti. This has been under consideration for several weeks, and has been initiated in last hours by the leaders of Lyon.
