  1. Way too optimistic. Even Remy hasn't started 10 times for us this year.
  2. Thiago is definitely quality and better than Koke (IMO if it wasn't for injuries Thiago could possibly be one of the best period in the world in CM) but 10x is way too excessive.
  3. Nope. I wasn't the guy that said that. Again, I challenge you to find a post where I have actually "disrespected" Oscar. On the rest of your points, there's no point in debating about them because in my mind there's no doubt in my mind that Cahill is behind Desailly, Carvalho, Gallas and Alex but of course you have the right to hold your own views.
  4. Yes, because thinking we can do better than Oscar and not rating him as highly as you do automatically means I'm not being 'professional' or that I'm slagging him off. All because I don't agree on your opinion about him... Incredible really. My arguments on Oscar have been constructive, not once have I "slagged him off". Go ahead, try and find me a post where I've actually slagged off Oscar. Like I said so many times before, I actually used to be a big Oscar defendant on here. I've just given up on him. But that's not the point, no idea why you're bringing Oscar into this and why the 'professionalism' of our posts are being discussed. It really doesn't matter if Cahill has won more than all the other aforementioned players, that doesn't make him the best partner JT has ever had. That's ridiculous. Cahill will never be the defender Desailly was. Desailly is one of the best ever. Gallas was a better CB during his time at CFC than Cahill was, not even arguable IMO. Carvalho shouldn't even 'dispute' your claim, he was easily JT's best partner. Carvalho is just a much better defender than Cahill. Alex didn't win as much as Cahill but that's just a poor argument to try and state who was the better partner. That's like saying Kalou is better than Hazard because he's had more success here with us. Edit: NVM, just seen how old you are. Couldn't have remembered seeing the likes of Carvalho, Gallas, Desailly and probably Alex as well in full action and appreciated them properly I suppose.
  5. This is so disrespectful to the likes of Carvalho, Desailly, Alex and Gallas. Christ.
  6. If you think his performances were match winning, brilliant performances then fair play to you. I'm not going to say he's been brilliant sorry. He's been good recently, but not brilliant.
  7. Cahill seems to be regaining his form from last season when we're playing more conservative football, whereas earlier in the season, when we were far more expansive, he was struggling severely. It really isn't a coincidence for me. He had a good match on Saturday and did play very well against QPR but I wouldn't say he's been brilliant, sorry. He's not a bad player, just isn't good enough to be our number 1 or 2 centre back, I still maintain that. My criticism of him still stands.
  8. Cahill has been decent for 3 games in a row or so and suddenly all of his criticism is found unwanted. Okay then.
  9. Only need 3 more points if we beat Arsenal if I remember correctly.
  10. Very good defensively, sloppy going forward though. Getting back to that level of his though.
  11. Regardless, Oscar was pretty good today must say. More of the same please. If he plays like this mostly you won't find people critiquing him all the time.
  12. He only started ahead of Willian because Willian was ill...
  13. Zouma isn't improving on the ball, he's just always been criminally underrated on it by most here because he looks unorthodox on the ball. He actually isn't that bad on the ball and has always had a decent pass on him.
  14. Mikel comes on and casually megs a player.
  15. Zouma is knackered, bring on Mikel.
  16. I never said very good, just good, considering the circumstances and how we've set up.
  17. They've gone Di Maria - Fellaini - Januzaj behind Falcao.
  18. Oscar has been a lot more like his scrappy self this half, hopefully he keeps it up. Can't fault him for not contributing going forward (this half) because we're trying to sit on his lead instead of increasing it unfortunately.
  19. Fabregas has been good today IMO. Very disciplined and leading the press well, and did very well to start that Hazard goal.
