  1. Diego Someone is more like Mourinho than any other manager. The aggressiveness, the style and almost every other thing. What he's doing now, Mourinho has done it before even on a smaller budget.
  2. You forgot "after more than 3 seasons of endless patience and achieving nothing"
  3. In addition to what you said, I actually think his role is more like a trequatista/creative CM. More like Sneijder(at inter)/Pirlo/Xavi/Alonso's role. With good DM behind them they play well, but without one they look mostly hopeless when the team is under pressure. Ramires provided that cover yesterday and he played well until Matic came into the game.
  4. Not defending Fabregas lack of form but I'm surprised most people actually think his role is DM.
  5. The board reportedly had meeting yesterday but felt Mourinho shouldn't be sacked. Thank God Board decisions are never made by "fans" on these thread. Mourinho was brought back for a reason and we all know it's not for short-term. They gave him contract extension few months ago because they believed we were on the right path to greater stability. No one ever predicted this kind of free fall. Not even the worst Mourinho hater. Football is unpredictable. Ask Leeds, Liverpool or Arsenal fans. That's why I respect a lot of them. Mourinho's post match rant (apart from the referees comment) could have been one the reasons why he wasn't sacked already. I'm sure he actually thought he was going to be sacked nonetheless and wanted to speak his 'honest' mind. He simply gave them two options: 1. Sack me, and go back to hire and fire like in the past, and forget about stability, or 2. There are problems, let's all stick together during this hard time, for the greater good. If every big club is like Real Madrid or Abrahimovich's Chelsea, I don't think any manager can last more than 2/3 seasons at any club. I personally I hate the hire and fire approach, hence one of the reasons why I want Jose to stay for now. E.g. When Carlo Ancelotti was here, he was sacked a season after cup double. That's very disheartening. Compare that to Pellegrini's situation at city last season. Even though the media tried really hard to get him sacked, the club gave him contract extension to prove he has their support. I'm sure Mourinho arguably did more for Chelsea than Benitez did for Liverpool. Their board at least gave till the season's end during his last disastrous season with them and only parted ways with him when he finished outside top four. My opinion may differ from others' but I believe that's the least he deserves from Chelsea.
  6. I really missed them Ballack, Drogba et al. Those guys never lacked passion or determination. They were all serial winners. Most of these new guys lack these attributes.
  7. You read into the media so much. That's the first step to being plastic.
  8. So should we all start crying now?
  9. To be fair on the poor guy, I don't think he was directly at fault for any of the goals today. I personally thought despite some errors, he had a better game than both Cahill(hah!) and Terry.
  10. It actually seems we're in free fall. Though I still believe that We will rise again with Mourinho (if not sacked before next game) or any other manager but if players like Terry ( though old but still our captain), Iva (vice captain), Cahill, Matic, Hazard, and/or Fabregas can't up their game then I don't think any one can change much for now. Mourinho is already in meltdown considering his post match rant. Personally I think something is not right with Mourinho at the moment. Like how he didn't play Zouma today knowing fully well how mane terrorised Terry last season with his pace. It's as if he was compelled to do so. Also, I think Mourinho isn't as bullish as before. Old Mourinho was never afraid to bench any one even C.Ronaldo/Ashley Cole. Even if he'll go down (if not sacked before next match), he should give other capable young players chance so that others would fight back for their shirt. I don't personally think that Kenedy will do worse than Hazard/Pedro ATM or do RLC/Ramires pairing. Lastly, Sometimes sacking a manager does not mean all will be well even when it apparently seems so. I'm sure that if Mourinho were to be sacked today or tomorrow man of the fans here would be very happy but I still think he should be given till season's end.
  11. Are u really a Chelsea fan? Any mod in the house?
  12. I'm sure Napoli fans could say same about Benitez. Football does not always work positively every time even with some of the best managers. And many times, the manager gets sacked even when it's obvious key players aren't giving their best (e.g. AVB at Chelsea).
  13. We were still well coordinated until Ramires was subbed albeit tactically.
  14. Confidence is obviously low but I believe we can do it.
  15. 1. Mikel was played against Everton to protect the defense with his "positioning". All the goals came through the very middle. He wasn't even there to make a tackle or commit a foul. 2. He also did the same against Porto. On the ball, okay, but off it, he was downright terrible. Even poor Iva / Matic made more tackles than he did in that game. Please dont use Walsall/Maccabbi as any example.
  16. I don't think Mikel made a single tackle against Everton and Porto. He was in both games very terrible off the ball. 4-3-3 formation. Defense needs a lot of pace for this game so no Terry Hazard - Falcao - Pedro/Kenedy/Willian Matic/Ramires - RLC - Oscar/Fabregas Baba - Cahill - Zouma - Dave Subs: Iva, Terry, Pedro/kenedy/Remy, Matic/Ramires/Fabregas, Blackman
  17. My bad! But hope you got my point anyway.
  18. I actually think Mourinho won't start Ivanovic tomorrow. I'm 99% sure. When Mourinho praises a player (he still rates) that's seriously out of form before a match. That particular player usually doesn't start that match. It's more like a reverse psychology aimed at relieving pressure on that player in question and at the opposition tactics . Edited:
  19. Not saying Iva is gold but in the two games that baba played, he was just very ordinary. Nothing spectacular. Probably one of the reasons why we're still stuck with Iva
  20. I don't think there's any real Chelsea fan that respects Benitez for obvious reasons the same way I don't think there is any real Chelsea fan that should disrespect Mourinho. I think Mourinho has earned it with us. Any Chelsea fan may criticize people like Mourinho, Ivanovic, Hazard etc but I think only the myopic ones would disrespect them. Mourinho may be a c*nt but he's our c*nt. Forget hypocrisy, everyone likes their c*nt. Suarez was Liverpool c*nt, Cantona was Manchester United C*nt, Diego Simeone is Atlectico c*nt....... Jose Mourinho is our own very f$#king c*nt!
  21. Considering our present form... Saying Jose is an idiot, stubborn etc is understandable or saying player x,y,z are shit, garbage etc is also understandable. What I don't understand is that when Chelsea wins, this thread is like a graveyard, but the moment we lose/draw, all the "Chelsea fans" magically come out of the woods to express their displeasures with the manager/players. Why is it that after a win, none of these "Chelsea fans" come out to praise the team/individual players/manager? Win/lose it's always good to analyse what went good/bad in a game. As for yesterday's match, The negatives: 1. Many players were so bad individually that no amount of different starting lineups could have changed that. 2. The defensive midfield was so poor (just like most of our previous games) that the defense is almost every time exposed. 3. No leadership in the team. Poor defense organization. 4. Little or no passion before Ramires changed the game. The positives: 1. We came back from two goals down. Even we could not do that last season against Newcastle or any other team. 2. We did not lose at Newcastle. 3. The subs were spot on. 4. Ramires played like he did during midweek... Fantastic!
  22. This thread is like a graveyard nowadays
  23. http://www.chelseasupportersgroup.net/2015/09/chelsea-terrace-talk-irish-examiner-article-by-trizia-117/ Gotten from: https://www.reddit.com/r/chelseafc/comments/3kw6lh/superb_chelsea_supporters_group_article_re_the/
  24. Thanks bro. I actually thought i was on the theguardian's anti Chelsea/antiMourinho forum I understand your frustration bro, but i think you it's probably the opposite.I don't think there are many coaches with more balls than Jose. That guy has benched some big names in his career. Mourinho didn't actually mention anybody's name in his interview but people that try to deduce whatever suits them.Mourinho is never going to criticise Ivanovic except he's given up totally on him, same for Terry, and Cahill for good management reason. You don't criticise players that are very low in confidence in the public especially if they've given their all to the club in recent past.
