I wonder if people are still keeping up this BS story about him being a coward for not fighting for his place. Diego Costa was awful on Saturday and majority of games this season, bar WBA, has not been in form. Yet, he is still picked and Falcao who was awful last season is constantly called on to come on as a sub while Remy has not featured in any of our league games, who done a lot for us in his limited chances last season. Shocking the way Remy is treated. If there is any player who has fought for his place, decided to knuckle down and wait for his opportunity, it is Remy but he is totally ignored and it shows Lukaku was right to leave. Merit does not get you minutes, it is your reputation. That is why Falcao is favoured over Remy. So can people put to bed this utterly ridiculous story that he could have stayed and fought for his place instead of leaving. Costa can perform as bad as he has done in the next few games and still will keep his place. But, yeah, Lukaku should be prepared to be content with this
This is the biggest thing for me, and something that some people will not be able to relate too. My kids and family come before anything and everything in this world and if it means a change in career path/disrupting something that I have done for a long time to make my family more better off, or even happier then I will do it.
