jnenclares17 got a reaction from Fulham Broadway in David Luiz at it again!
The Paris St. Germain centre-back has not been able to keep quiet since leaving Chelsea and this time he is berating his ex-manager, Jose Mourinho.
A former cult hero at Chelsea, the 'Geezer', has decided to add fuel to the flames in saying that "He [Mourinho] is special for you, but not for me," to L'Equipe (per the Daily Mail).
Unfortunately Luiz could not be more wrong. The 'Special One' is one of the world finest managers and his record speaks for itself. After having just won his first trophy on his return to Roman Abramovich's side his thirst for silverware has increased exponentially. The Seleção defender even acknowledges that the current Chelsea side are superb and are having a terrific season.
"I had some great moments at Chelsea and won a lot of titles. I was very happy.
"They are having a great season, defend well and have great players, but above all I know my team. We will try to score there and play like we know how we can.
"We will have a good game plan and implement it the best way possible to achieve a great performance. Both can still qualify."
After the 1-1 draw at the Parc De Princes the second leg was set-up to be yet another terrific duel on the pitch, but with these comments from the Brazilian the duel has inevitably extended to the press room. Sadly, Luiz has fallen prey to the Portuguese manager's mind games by putting the focus on him(Mourinho) and taking it away from the Chelsea players.
A reason for these quips from Sideshow Bob's doppelgänger may be that he is upset with Mourinho's decision of cutting him from Chelsea. When Mourinho arrived for his second spell in London he decided to remould the Chelsea side he inherited and make it his own and that meant the sales of Juan Mata, Fernando Torres, Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne, David Luiz and Damba Ba, amongst others.
Luiz, similar to Lukaku has decided to strike back at the Chelsea boss through the power of the media for his treatment while at Chelsea since Mourinho took over and hopefully it will come back to bite him like it did to the young Belgian striker(if you can call him that given his horrible form this season).
Laurent Blanc knows that playing at the Bridge will be tough and these comments from the Brazilian have only increased the pressure on Blanc and have hyped up the match even more. With luck, the second leg in London will live up to its hype and be a thrilling match to watch for all fans.
