  1. Seems to be general consensus that Remy should play on the right like this: Although, it feels as though this would be a superior XI:
  2. They showed Wrexham's goal vs Stoke, so I assume it'll be the same for the other games. It's looking as though BBC One is better than nothing for now.
  3. Thirteen seasons of service, three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups, Chelsea's first ever Champions League, Chelsea's top goalscorer of all time and apparently this guy is not a legend any more. I'm done.
  4. Supporters can sit there and wither away with frustration at his choices, or relish what history he was part of and move on. The latter being superior for ones mentality, whether a fan, player or manager.
  5. I write in a journalistic style, as it is required on my university course. It is the way you are wired when you are made to write a lot of reports, articles etc. That's the way it goes unfortunately. If you don't respect him as much as I, that is entirely up to you. Nowhere did I say that I agree with his decision to join City, nowhere did I state it was my preference. I am merely being pragmatic.
  6. Remy is a testament of how this club mitigates the extent of some player's careers, let's be honest. The lack of equitable rotation in the team is punishing him.
  7. It is heinous that some fans choose to hate Frank rather than to treasure what he has brought to this football club over the last decade. He is a Chelsea legend, no matter what you say. Of course, it's distressing to know that he is scoring goals for City, let alone the fact that he joined title contenders in the first place. Look at this way though, the man is a professional. He's coming to the end of his career. He wants game time at the highest possible level before he has to hang his boots up. Even if he wins the title with City, look at what we won with Chelsea and how long he stuck with them.
  8. Willian was too expensive from the start. An explosive burst of pace, articulates his movement on and off the ball tastefully and has a real defensive engine for the modern game - but where's the x factor? Is he really worth £32m, a somewhat similiar price that was paid for a player with the meticulous competence and prospects of Eden Hazard? Bizarre. Here's hoping that if that much is spend on another player, he will be of exact worth.
  9. It is truly mind boggling why Mourinho didn't bring Remy on. He has produced well enough in far less creative teams. Every time he has played for us, has either scored a goal in no time or has somehow been involved. Things happen. Instead Mou decides to resort to Salah and Ramires. Understandably, they added missing pace to the team - but the icing on the cake would of been in Remy, who surely was scratching his head as Jose didn't make a third substitute. In the grand scheme of things however, Spurs have grown a scathing quality under Pochettino recently. They have been unbeaten for five games - including two away wins, their last defeat was against us. They haven't been top tier, but they've been gaining some substantial form and are starting to find their feet in the league table. All you have to do is look at players like Chadli and Kane, it was never going to be an easy game. A somewhat similiar vibe was given off Newcastle, who had a quite a resurgence in form before they managed to get the better of us.
