Scored again today.

I have been saying this since last season but people on this forum got very upset with it. It's becoming so obvious this season already.

These are the facts. Everything, except what's in brackets, is copied as-is from what I said last week: - [begovic] was brilliant yesterday. Without him it could have been 4 or 5 [Man City] (who really played well). - Hazard holds the ball way too much, and he's directly responsible in ruining several breaks. He's definitely been figured out by the rest of the EPL teams. - Ivanovic is a great player, but he should not be RB. But then this means he has no room in Mourinho's 4-2-3-1 or its modified 4-3-3. So just sell. - Other than Costa, this team does not have something or someone that scares the opposing defenses. [And Costa is so not in form] - We lack creativity and the ability to find solutions up front. - The full backs are sub par.

I watched this one live and I have to say I'm surprised by some of the remarks here! For me, these are the facts: - Cahill was brilliant yesterday. Without him it could have been 4 or 5 Swansea (who really played well). - Willian had a great game too. - Hazard holds the ball way too much, and he's directly responsible in ruining several breaks towards the end. He's definitely been figured out by the rest of the EPL teams. - Ivanovic is a great player, but he should not be RB. But then this means he has no room in Mourinho's 4-2-3-1 or its modified 4-3-3. So just sell. Other than (somewhat) Costa, this team does not have something or someone that scares the opposing defenses. It lacks creativity and the ability to find solutions up front. And it's full backs are sub par.

Salah would do well under any coach other than Mourinho, and that's why he has to go. Period. He has no room in Mourinho's system, who cannot afford to have any free roaming players on the pitch. That's pretty much what Salah is and always will be in order to shine.

Not a god place at all. At Fiorentina, where he should ha e stayed for one more year, he is guaranteed a starting position, EL competition, besides being the fans favorite. None of that at Inter. Not sure who's advising him, should have been fired a long time ago.
-
Yes, true. Heard that he may be loaned to Fiorentina for 30,000,000 and a swap with one of their wingers!
-
He will be fine. Just give him a season or two and you will see.
-
Says who?
-
Very decent goal actually. Would love to see how it started. Do you have a better link?

KDB is just another example of the chaos and inefficiency Mourinho brings with him to every team he's managed.
-
Wouldn't be a good move for anyone involved.

I would also consider using Cuadrado on the left flank, to offset Elmohammady's pace and crossing, it's how half of Hull's goals at home are scored. Oscar and Zouma must start as well. Not sure why some are so anti Iva, he's one of few who can make a difference - ie score - in defensive games, and this will sure be one, with Hull going for a tie.

I don't know if it's utter arrogance or completed dillusion, but the continued claim that "EPL produces the best teams in the world" is so laughable that it's not even worth arguing against. Sure, it used to be a few years back, but it is certainly not anymore. The argument that EPL does not allow "space to run behind defenders" is not only meaningless (because even if it were true, it does not mean that EPL teams are better), but it is also completely debatable: in 5 out of the 7 goals Salah scored against English teams, he was accelerating at his full speed behind defenders. The argument that the EPL is the most competitive in the world is ABSOLUTELY TRUE!! But within that truth you find proof of how EPL has not produced the best teams in the world lately: EPL teams are indeed so close in ability/quality, so close that any teams can beat another! That's very competitive, very true. But that homogenous level itself is not high enough to compete with the likes of Barcelona, Bayern, Juventus, Real, etc. You can live in your own competitive buble all you want, it doesn't mean you're competing with the best. EPL has the highest European representation in the CL. Yet all EPL are already out of the CL and the EL. In English, this means that EPL teams right now are NOT CL nor even EL standard. Period. You can argue against that all you like, from here to Christmas, it doesn't mean that you're even near right. You would only be dillusional. Or simply blindly arrogant.
-
Thank you. My point exactly.
-
Here are 6 European teams that can absolutely beat us and ManC on any home and away tie, hands down: Real Madrid Barcelona A. Madrid PSG Bayern Porto Here are 6 others that would make it to the top 4 in the EPL: Valencia Villarreal Sevilla Juventus Lazio Dortmund

Mourinho will not have Cuadrado and Willian together on the pitch at the same time. Not this season. Not now. Not until EPL title is guaranteed.
