Okay good game to those of you who aren't pricks.

I enjoy being able to read real inputs from Chelsea fans and that's why I registered last year, Chelsea fans you'll find on french website usually are bandwagoners/biaised PSG haters, and you can't find real inputs on website like reddit either, so here I am, reading what you all have to say and in exchange I try to bring some knowledge about my own club, I'm sure that most of you never follow PSG, so this could be useful for some of you. Indeed what is done is done so no need to talk about the first leg. The news tonight are giving this lineup: Sirigu, Maxwell - Silva - Luiz - Marquinhos, Matuidi - Motta - Verratti, Pastore - Ibra - Cavani. Nothing sure though, I can't see why Blanc would give it today, but it makes sense. Motta playing in the midfield could be a good news for you, he has been quite poor this year, except against Barça. He's old, he's tired, he's never been used playing as much as he did last season. Luiz in the midfield would bring more physical impact and I think that's what we need against you, I think he's been very useful in the first leg. In addition, you all know that Luiz can be a liability when playing as a CB. That being said, Motta got vice and experience and he can control the rhythm of the game. Couldn't say if that's a good or a bad news. Then Marquinhos would be our right fullback. His real position is CB, he has played fullback several time this season, he's been good defensively as usual but he doesn't bring much when it comes to attack. I assume his role will be to stop Hazard. Here again i'm disappointed, Van der Wiel has been pretty poor lately but he had a good game against Hazard, I would have prefered Luiz in the middle and Silva-Marquinhos as central backs, they're extremely clean.

Lol, yes sure, two players sent off, and he's the one delusional. Stop bitching, Ramires' stupid foul on Pastore was a clear penalty.

Thing is, Lavezzi is one of our three attacking players but he very rarely manage to score a goal, and we absolutly need to score tomorrow. So yes he's a good team guy but the first thing we expect from our strikers is to score. And in order to do that, I'd prefer to see Pastore. Now I understand what you say about our flanks being exploited, but we would have the same problem with Lavezzi if he loses the ball or can't get a forward pass, and he does that a lot. That being said, there's still our fullbacks and Matuidi and Verratti to protect our flanks. Once again, we need to score, we'll need balance as well and i'm sure that other players will compensate when Pastore or Cavani will go inside so our flanks won't be too exposed- but our first priority shouldn't be to lock our flanks but to score. But scoring too early wouldn't be that good either, that's why I wouldn't be surprised if Lavezzi starts, he may bring more balance and, as you said, pace. I agree with you, tactical fouls really helped us in the first leg, and I feel like we'll be given more cards tomorrow, even though Verratti is strong at doing such fouls without getting cards. And yes, if we manage to control midfield as we did in Paris, your defense will have a hard time. But i'm not sure Luiz will play there, Motta is back and it may be good to see him start if we want to control midfield. Then Luiz would play between Silva and Marquinhos. Sorry my english isn't good enough to argue properly about tactical matters.

Lucas has scored 8 goals, Cavani 18 this season. Lucas is fast indeed but he's not really a smart player, it's way too rare for now when his pace and dribbling skills are actually useful. Pastore can score and he can make his teammates score, so I'd prefer to see him start over Lavezzi. Pastore is like, 'old school' number 10, but these last years he really learned how to defend properly and he's pretty good at it tbh. Yes he's better in the middle, but you probably know that we can defend as 4-3-3, then he would defend on one side, and when attacking he can go in the middle and be the playmaker, Ibra can do the same and then Cavani can leave his side and take a number 9 position while Pastore can use his pace, he's not as fast as Lucas - who is? - but he's pretty fast, probably more than Terry at least. Now, maybe Pastore won't have the influence I think he could have, that's the point with him, you never know what to expect. That's why, maybe, he won't start; Lavezzi has pace and he gots grinta to defend. Actually I've no idea of what will be our lineup tomorrow.
-
Yeah but we don't want to give your defenders problems, we want to score goals, and so far Lucas didn't score many. If Lavezzi starts, I'll regret Lucas being absent. But not if Pastore is fully fit, his forward passes for Zlatan, Cavani and Matuidi are real threats.

Actually, this season, we've never been better than without Lucas.

Ramires is the one who should have been sent off in Paris. It's crazy to see how much people complain about Verratti, Chelsea players did a lot of tactical fouls as well and didn't get that much yellows, the ref was actually coherent. I know this kind of fouls are very frustrating but be sure this is what the other team's fans feel when facing Chelsea so you should be able to understand that. Anyway, two question marks for us. Who will start as a DM? I really liked Luiz in the midfield, and Marquinhos is very solid, but Van der Wiel probably is our weakest player currently. That being said he was good on Hazard in the first leg. If Motta starts Marquinhos could play as a right fullback, not bad as well. I think I'd prefer to see Luiz. Will Pastore starts? If he does, it won't be in the midfield. He's been excellent lately and Lavezzy has been shit, but he brings some balance to our attacking trio with his pace. But he's been shit, definitely, so I hope we'll see Pastore, he's wonderful to watch and we want to see good football.

Thanks In the preview "PSG's only other European Cup semifinal came in 1994/95 when they lost out to AC Milan" True if European Cup only means Champions League. http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historique_du_parcours_europ%C3%A9en_du_Paris_Saint-Germain

Not so ridiculous if you consider how rich our owners are, and how hard it is to persuade players to come to shitty Ligue 1 And 45M doesn't represent what it represented few years ago, in football ofcourse. Still overpayed, he has a great potential, but, what he lacks is the most difficult to learn, usually you have it or you don't. L'intelligence de jeu in french, mhh, sense of game I'd say?
