  1. If you look at our squad numbers you will find that we have free significant vacant shirt numbers. These numbers have come to represent player roles and their importance in the world of football. Number 4 being the talented central midfielder, number 7 as the playmaker or second striker and number 9 the main goal threat. So my question is who would you like to wear these shirts in the near future? My picks are, 9:Sergio Aguero or David Villa 7:Frank Ribery 4:David Silva . P.S: Just forget for a moment that the number 7 curse exists.
  2. I think that Ribery wants to be in a white shirt. Look at Madrid's arrogance offering only 30 millions because they know he will persuade his club to make a deal with them. No matter how much we offer we won't get him. That is if this bullsh*t is even true.:censored: Man I am sick of these rumours.
  3. Can someone post live streaming links
  4. ........................Cech......................... Bosingwa- Carvallho - Terry© - A.Cole ...................Essien....................... .............Ballack - Lampard............... ....J.Cole............................Robben... ..................Drogba.........................
  5. But I think that international world class players adapt more easily than younger players. Look at Ballack who, although most of you would never admit, has had very good games from the time he signed for us. A player does not have to dribble like messi or ronaldo or score alot of goals like lampard or drogs or make alot of assists like fabregas to have a great contribution in games. If we just forget about Sheva who wasn't extremely bad and if it were not for some injuries and bench time would have made a greater impact then we might get a world class player like ribery or villa who would stike the fear in the heart of our opponents and help us win championships. Funny no one mentions drogs who was already 26 when we signed him and look at him now.:pwned:
  6. Yes you have a great point. I also think that yongsters should be brought through our own academy. So that when we go into the transfer market we look for more experienced established players not for young players that we still have to nurture. Think of it from a psychological point of view, who would our opponents fear more? David Villa and Ribery or Hamsik and Aguero.
  7. Thanks a lot. This has been going through my mind for a while now. You are right he didn't have a chance to have a good run. Everytime he started to shift into the next gear he was either injured or taken out of the first eleven for a match or two.
  8. Well Ballack has given a lot to the club as he has been a 90 minute regular for a long time with effective passing and defensive descipline. He is also a leader on the pitch and a great inspiration for younger players. As for Deco he has been brilliant at the tip of the diamond and links well with anelka and drogs. Furthermore I would argue that Ballack has been a greater success at Chelsea than sheva.
  9. Yes he is a world class player who has done it all and I am sure he will regain his form because as they say form is temporary class is permanent. Moreover, this statement shows that he still has hunger and ambition to win the premier league and the UCL unlike what some people are saying that he is in it for the money.
  10. Well yeah you got a point there but I think that some experienced players can cope a lot faster than younger ones like ballack who had a great first season and although people bash him a lot, he is a part of Chelsea's backbone at the moment.
  11. As I go through my everyday reading of the forums I always find something in common, and that is everybody hates old players. I find someone saying Ballack is shite then the other Deco cant even pass and the third urging not to buy Ribery nor David villa (although they are not that old). So is it because they are really "shite" and have lost it or is it because they are rich assholes who don't care about football anymore and are just in it for the money? Maybe it is because of the people who tell us that the great Chelsea club is a retirement home for old players so we now have world class player phobia. Whatever the cause may be I just think that this hate is wrong because these players are the ones who pull the team through the tough matches and can grind out results. Look at arsenal their biggest weakness, is the same thing that you want which is youth and look now how the gooners are envying us; while everybody talks about their fancy football they are going into 5 years without a trophy. Of course we should have young talent but a healthy mix of both must be present. Finally, are you with or against established aging players. So I just want your thoughts on this topic. This is my first post and I hope it is one of many. UP THE CHELS!
