Can see another thread being locked - go discuss that shit in the appropriate thread. This thread is about Salah - who didn't have a great game, worked hard and gained some much needed fitness. I'm going to go easy on him as fasting is tough - I've seen some guys at work and it's killing them in a sedentary job (IT) so for Salah to train and play just wow. Anybody who knows anything about the body and metabolism will know that high intakes of sugar help the brain to be on top performance, whist when dieting or in a ketogenic state (like Salah) - brain activity is de-prioritised - which could explain some of the random decisions he made. I'm not saying that's the answer - but I suspect it is a contributing factor - football is a culmination of all of the little things and this was one against him.. Roll on the next game
